How is this, two new threads by me :o anyway, Kevin Smith has confirmed that he is working on a Clerks sequal. Apparntly everyone is on board already and he said his script is one of the funniest he has ever written. anyway, you read more about it on http://viewaskew.com/main.html just to let u know, the forums and such are pretty unmoderated there so click at your own risk? ;) anyway, there is some good info so far about the movie.

Best news I have heard all day! Clerks is one of the funniest damn films I have EVER seen, and certainly the BEST in the Kevin Smith saga. Being a manager in a store myself, I can TOTALLY relate to all of the jokes. The "milk maids", the people who ask the stupid questions, the people in the video store that always pick the most "intillectually devoid films." Customer: "oh look! Navy Seals"! Best line in the movie is from Randal, who is my real life alter ego: "This job would be great it if weren't for the ****ing customers!"

Thanks for the good news, you da man billeh!!! :emodanc:

" Thats beautiful man...."

" Look at you- you cant even pass...Don't give that guy the ball he sucks... YOU SUCK"

"You see any balls down there? Yeah the biggest pair ya ever seen dingleberry..."

"OMG everytime i kiss you I'm gonna taste 36 other guys..."

oh the one hand this is really cool, as i love clerks (and most of the other J&SB films) and the animated series.

On the other hand i had hoped he could move on to do something different and more "mainstream". Like Peter Jackson did with LOTR. I wish he had gotten the daredevil gig (for example).

I hear jersy girl sucked though.

Somehow it seems like admitting defeat to go back to clerks and J&SB so soon...

Anyone else hear his name was linked with the Sw tv series? I find it unlikely considering the "trial" they gave lucas on the clerks cartoon...

Randal Graves : State your name and latest film.

George Lucas : George Lucas, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

Randal Graves : And, do you think Phantom Menace is as good a movie as Empire?

George Lucas : Well, certainly, I, uh, think it's the best movie I've made yet.

Randal Graves : Permission to treat this witness as hostile. Mr. Lucas, how do you explain that in Star Wars, Obi-Wan tells Luke that when he met his father he was a great pilot, but in Menace he's just a little boy?

George Lucas : Uh, well, my... my kids thought...

Randal Graves : And how come Obi-Wan tells Luke that Yoda is the Jedi that trained him, but in the movie Liam Neeson trains Obi-Wan?

George Lucas : Uh, well, the power of myth...

Randal Graves : Isn't it true you knew this was a bad movie, that you wrote it over a weekend but kept telling people it was done for years?

Lawyer: Objection, your honor. The pod race was pretty cool.

Leonardo Leonardo : [on loudspeaker] Or try our International Coffee Bar, with a small bookstore featuring it's own teeny tiny coffee bar.
