WIP - Bastila robe

Hi everyone.

Since I wasn't exactly satisfied with the Bastila Redemption Robes look, I've decided to to create my own variant. I am almost finished now, but I'm kinda stuck when it comes to choice of the color...

So, I'd like to ask all you: which color do you prefer?

Light, (number one) or dark (number two)?

(It's supposed to be Light Bastila robe, BTW).

true, but you could do what Svosh did,

MAJOR SPOILER, ONLY LOOK IF YOU'VE COMPLETED THE GAME AT LEAST ONCE!!!!!

have the light one for the start then have the darker one for after Malak captures her

(i cannot be held responseable for anyones games being ruined as i DID warn you :p)

Thank you for all your replies.

Yes, I do intend to make two robes, light and dark, but I think that dark robe should be more unique. I mean, changing one color? That's too simple :)

(And yes, I intend to use red in dark robe :dev9: )

*Atris*, I'm not sure I understand your question... Well, what you see on the pictures is Bastilas body, exported to 3DMax.

Anyway, here's the mostly finished light robe (still in 3DMax) front and back). Hopefully, that yellow pattern will reflect environment while ingame. I'm going to check this in a moment...

appearance.2da, Line4, Bastila:

envmap=CM_Baremetal

Strong Alpha Channel lines (50%-100%) wherever the yellow patterns are

Guaranteed to reflect (though not sure about the environment, I believe it only affects amount of light to 'pass through')

Robes look Superb, definitely has 'WOW' power! Any chance for a green version...or are you going to make me work for it (for my personal game of course) ;)

I knew that already, but if I didn't knew that, I would be grateful for this mini-tutorial. :) So I can be only grateful for your praise :D

And yep... it works.

Any chance for a green version...

You mean, something like this? :D

(those two had brightness and contrast corrected, so keep in mind that actual robes are a bit darker)

So, tell you what: I'll register at pcgamemods, and when dark version is completed, I'll release light, green and black version, ok?

Well... yes. Like I said, I wasn't satisfied with Bastila Redemption (and Good/Evil Bastila as well) robes look. So, I've decided to create new unique skin that I, and everyone else can use when they get bored with "classic" skins. :)

But this particular recolor was created because ChAiNz asked me - my light Bastilas robe is brown, not green.

And here's dark Bastila :dev14:

(left side of the screen is brightness corrected to show details, and right side is how it looks ingame).

I like your original reskins Much better. I think they would look sweat with those patterns, But the red one just looks like a copy of svösh's Evil Bastila Robes. I mean it also looks like the scales are on the spandex part like svösh's. The pattern on the front looks great but the rest looks a like a rip.

You obviously have skill, But why copy what someone else has done, Aren't you concerned that your robes will be mistaken as a copy or a reskin of a reskin. I think you should stick with your original designs and keep your robes truly unique.

What do you mean, "original reskins"? It's the same skin, only colored black and red, and with different pattern.

No, not at all. I think that my robes are distinct enough and I don't think that anyone is going to confuse them with svöshs skins.

Im just confused as to why your going with the same style with the red and black. The beige ones are a unique style.

But Your free to make what you want.
