RpTheHotrod
Been screwing around with it and came up with this stuff. I gotta get a direct cord to my computer though. Recording from across the room really sucks. For those who don't know how I play, I either make it up myself, or I heard it from somewhere and make my own lil version (I play by ear, I hear it, I can play it). I use Cool Edit Pro 2.0 for my editing First song I got from a demo somewhere and made my own version as close as I could to original. Lil hobby of mine. Trying to clone a song without using any direct sources. http://www.jaguarfx.net/hotrod/jaredssong.mp3 http://www.jaguarfx.net/hotrod/jaredssong2.mp3

Datheus
Woman (on television): For my entire life, I was a victim of my own fear. Jim Cunningham (on television): Love. Woman (on television): I was feeding fear through food. Jim Cunningham (on television): Fear. Woman (on television): And finally, I looked in the mirror. Not just in the mirror. I looked through the mirror. In that image, I saw my ego reflection. Woman 2# (on television): For two years, I thought it was normal for a 10 year old to wet the bed. We tried everything. Boy (on television): I’m not afraid anymore! Jim Cunningham (on television): All over America, people have come together to join hands. People who believe that human life is absolutely too important, too valuable, and too precious to be controlled by fear. Hello, my name is Jim Cunningham. And welcome to “Controlling Fear”. I couldn't have been the only one to think this...

Acrylic
Most young people (including me) don't really like rap anymore. Its not fresh anymore. Now, Eminem's lyrics don't even excite me or anything. Now normal kids converted themselves "emo", dyed their hair black, and got black glasses. Its crazy. Mike Windu
Speak for yourself. I love rap. Rap is not a passing fad (yes, shocking I know) and it's here to stay. Love it or hate it. Eminem's lyrics remain what they always have been. People have learned to accept it. Now the whole controversy is between Shady Aftermath/G-Unit and Murder, Inc. ja rule is getting his ass kicked
Darth Groovy
RP, can you play this one? It's a very OLD Ministry song (pre-dates the guitar driven Ministry we know now), but I always loved it. Ministry: "The Angel"

American Rap (as far as I know) has been around since the 80's, and it's lasted 20 years, but this newfound "50 cent" style rap is what bugs me. What about the days of Tupac?! WHERE DID THAT RAP GO?! The stuff they define as "rap" now days just plain sucks. I used to listen to it alot, but when all these rappers kept getting shot, and arrested for carrying guns, I grew tired of it. My favorite used to be Ice Cube, but even some of his newer material is kind of watered down and out right boring. I don't really even play too much of the older stuff anymore. Either I grew out of it, got tired of it, or something... Ocassionally, I might throw on some BDP, PE, Ice-T, or something even older, just for the fun of it, but I don't listen to it on a regular basis anymore. Aside from maybe Method Man, or DMX, pretty much all of the new stuff just sucks fat tail. One of the kids at work was listening to Snoop Doggy Dogg the other day, and I remember thinking, "jeezum crow, it's like the same rap I heard back in '94, only the beat is different, how is that possibley interesting?!" I mean they keep saying the same damn thing over, and over, and over, and over. Next rapper that says "can I get a what-what?", i'm seriously going to hurl chunks. That pretty much somes it up for me.
RpTheHotrod
Groovy, I'll work on it as soon as I can, but I gotta get my computer connected to the computer so it won't be recorded from across the room.
