Seprithro
Greetings all! This thread is where I will be posting information concerning projects I am currently working on. Due to a UV mapping problem, my Mandilorian KoBra Assult Cannon, is currently on hold, however, I have another project, which is almost ready to release. It's not as clusmy or random as a blaster, but more of an elegant weapon How's it look?
Darkkender
Nice, I wish I could manipulate models that well. Heck I wish I was better at texture recoloring.
90SK
How do you think it looks, Seprithro? 10/10, geez. Just kidding. Abbsolutly fabulous job on the hilt, keep it up!
Seprithro
it wasnt manipulated, i modeled a new hilt with the new mdlops, it also does not overwrite existing models
deathdisco
Very nice! Kinda looks Obi-wan inspired. Is that a little window to view the blade inside of the hilt? I'll definately have to add it to the collection:)
Mono_Giganto
Nice! Heh, W.I.P = Back for good eh Sep?
Darkkender
Originally posted by Seprithro it wasnt manipulated, i modeled a new hilt with the new mdlops, it also does not overwrite existing models I use the all generic term of manipulate as well as many other all encompassing words for working within any program wether building from scratch a new model or taking any existing model and making changes to it. The same with any texture maping or any form of program development.(the problem with being an old school net-head/hacker/programmer/geek is using old school terms.) Seprithro
Nice, I wish I could manipulate models that well. Heck I wish I was better at texture recoloring. it only takes practice this is the first game i have ever modded, and when i started, i knew nothingat all if you need some help feel free to ask Heh, W.I.P = Back for good eh Sep? Well i get bored easy and a man has to fill his time somehow Very nice! Kinda looks Obi-wan inspired. Good eye, i liked the bottom of his saber but hated the top, and yes that is what the "window" is for, but for the crystals not the blade
RedHawke
Sep, I love the saber, it has both an OT and PT feeling to it, a mix of old and new, very, very nice work!

Seprithro
ok people, i need some advice, i have another hilt done, but i need to know what everone thinks see the top pic is using the games shader, and the bottom is using self lumination, so it will glow in the dark, like svösh's uzi clips, so what does everyone think, which one looks better?
90SK
I like the one on the bottom, but thats just my opinion. Either way, they both look great. Keep up the good work!
T7nowhere
I like the one on the bottom with self illume more, But the The shader Gives the red tube a glass look that is also appealing. IF I had to choose between then I would definately say the one with self illume, it gives the saber a look like its coursing with power and matches the blade color perfectly. Seprithro
i like the sound of that! "coursing with power" ok folks i got another question, set stats, or make these things upgradable?
stingerhs
sounds like a personal choice if you ask me. but since you asked, i think it would be cool if the upgrade crystals granted different properties than the normal ones for the lightsaber. excellent work thus far. RedHawke
Wow Sep... just WOW!!! I say use the bottom one with the glow effect. I like that evil saber, very visious looking and T7's "coursing with power" works with the handheld technical terror you have constructed too!
