Pho3nix Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 I agree. But that would be abit too complicated though.
darthfergie Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 I think that's pretty much already determined by who the sides are. There is no reason to have it choosable. Seriously, just think about it. Empire = dictatorship Rebel = democracy/republic
Nokill Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 yust get some jawa's make PIE's! and the troops will come by themself
Alegis Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 "communism" doesn't really sound star wars like I reckon it'll be the most simple system of all; everyone is their own boss.
Com Raven Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Yeah, that is very nice in RoN or Civ, but dioesn't really fit in with SW story.
Sithmaster_821 Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Especially a Star Wars game more focused on battle.
DK_Viceroy Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Why does an idea like that sound like it was created bt Windu?
FroZticles Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Because some other people like RoN as well I guess....
Sithmaster_821 Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 No, its not Windu. He didn't bring up gunships.
Jamps Posted January 9, 2005 Author Posted January 9, 2005 I'm not "Windu". Anyway, I thought maybe formal governments would add a twist to the game. But of course you couldn't have a communist government in STAR WARS, they would have to change th names around a bit.
lukeiamyourdad Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Economical systems might be possible to an extent but since they stated that it would be simple, I doubt we'll get anything like this. Besides, it makes sense if you're creating your civ from scratch but a Rebel Dictatorship and an Imperial Democracy sounds too weird. Oh by the way, monarchy doesn't exactly equal dictatorship. Constitutionnal monarchy does exist. I know you're not Windu mate. Hey remember, no Republic/CIS so...he did leave.
