Robe could be called something like Jedi Recon Robes, or just Recon Robes. They'd offer moderate protection (like knight robes), with +stealth bonuses, and

Desc something like:

 

As the Sith began to hunt down the remaining Jedi, surviving Jedi took to hiding. They sought to erase all knowlege of their existance, and covered their tracks, hiding in remote systems and laying low. A few Jedi encamped in the forests of (Yavin IV? Endor? Kashyyk?) developed these robes. They are designed to blend in with the surrounding wilderness, either to avoid unfriendly eyes, or provide opportunity to ambush them.

 

 

 

 

I guess that may be a bit powerful as is, but it could perhaps get underlay upgrades as well (I think overlay would be stupid for a robe though).

 

 

 

Also, if it's okay with MonoGiganto, I'd like to use his DTL-19 rifle model to make a sniper rifle to go with this robe (as an alternate weapon, I mean to truely take advantage of the benefits you need to get up close and personal and saber them right? ;)). It'd be an upgradeable rifle with quite a bit of power and accuracy even not upgraded , the main feature though, is a longer range. Perhaps 40 meters, or even 50.

This would be kinda cool because you'd get to blast enemies well before they realize you're there.

 

Heck, I'd even go so far as to add a line to baseitems.2da and ammunitiontypes.2da to make sniper rifles have a different sound than normal blaster rifles (I'd go for that high pitched sound like you hear a lot of ship lasers using). Maybe give them another dam die rather than giving them too much bonus damage. They could be a completely different class with several rifles in there. I think it'd only make sense to add bonus feat: sniper shot to all of them, improved and master's to more powerful ones.

 

 

Also, does anyone know the skins for the w_laserfire models? I can't cheat and just get the textures from modlops like I can with lightsabers. I'd like to see green blaster bolts (but not bowcaster)

if this has been requested already sorry but could someone make a lost jedi item pack that is simmilar to the exil item pack from RedHalkeye that gives has you give your students the items after you train them except lightsabers cuz I'm waiting for the USM to come out for that but like robes implants armbands and belt and a seperate light saber crystal that is a crystal upgrade not at color change that is similar instrength to the exiles cyrstal at max strength and gauntlets and for bao-dur make some special upgradeable clothes unless you can find a way to make him a robe that works

I've been thinking of a solution: you could spawn party members around you with a script (just like my zombie/lightsaber force powers). You could attach the script to an armband an call it let's say an "emergency communication system" to call for reinforcement during battles :D

Well would it actually check for the party members that are in your party and spawn ones that aren't?

Hey.. I've been a lurker for sometime. I wanted to ask if anyone has considered a mod that edits or replaces some of the music in TSL...

 

Sometimes, especially during cut scenes, the music seems appropriate. But just the standard 'exploring' music can get so.. repetitive, and the combat music really doesn't seem appropriate for some of the epic battles in TSL...

 

The music is OK... but it doesn't 'feel' as right like John Williams music from the movies... Something like Duel of the Fates would be great in

 

the final duel with Sion

Welcome to the forums :)

 

Unfortunately, while it is possible to change the music in TSL, mods that require importing copyrighted material such as music like the "Duel of the Fates" or other games ressources into Kotor cannot be discussed on these boards.

 

Next time you have a mod request, please post it in the mod request sticky. I am moving your post for you this time.

Here's an idea..

When Kreia got her hand cut off, i kinda felt sorry for her, that old witch!!:) so how about after you leave Peragus, arrive at Telos, and after the investigation stuff, u can take Kreia to the medlab on module 082 West, where u can talk to someone there, and for the proper amount of credits, u can fit her with a mechanical arm, like Anakin's and Luke's??

we could use textures from the HK-50's (looks mechanical enough!!)

So, waht do u think??

umm she still wouldn't be able to use any weapon in her off hand cuz it's hard coded I guess and her aperiance changes once her hand gets cut off

Actually, it is possible, but kind of buggy. It's stored in the appearance itself, so changing her appearance should allow her to use two weapons. However, disguises won't do the trick cause she's not permanently changin appearances.

 

However, a neat little disguise bug exploit can get you what you want. I don't know why, but if you leave a disguise on for a long period of time, you permanently use that appearance line (In both K1 and K2). I made an item for Kreia that gave her the 2 hand appearance, and eventually it "stuck"; I took off the item and she still had two hands, and I could equip her with multiple weapons.

 

The only buggy part is that the game actively tries to equip her with weapons. I found her one time with two of my own modelled guns equipped, though I didn't equip her.

After Peragus, the game changes the appearance of kreia from "party_npc_kreia" to "party_npc_kreia_gimped", then it is saved in you save file, i think a good scripter can change her apperance again on telos, the only problem is that i don't know if the game re-checks the appearnaces through the game or not...

Thanx jedigoku, i could do that, or i could just use the savegame editor, but i thought it would've been cool to have as a part of the story, but since nobody liked the idea, i'll just drop it and think of something else to do!!:D

it's a neat idea but it take alot of time to get the script working and test it when a simple 30 second solution is avialable
