Captivus
I am not entirely sure, but I was under the impression that some modding group was already working on the "better" ending mod. I think I saw that somewhere at Obsidian forums. Yes - but that was the "ending as it should be" mod. Somebody (sorry I don't remember the name) wanted to make the ending using the scripts and voices that are already in the game .... but as far as I know it didn't work out.It would - all needed materials (voices, music even scripts) are in the game but unfortunately there are no animiations like ... bleeding atton lying on the floor saying his last words ... ... and new ones can't be created. Many said that they like the idea but much less agreeded to help (from what I know at least) As I said I'd really LOVE to see the "true" ending but I don't believe I will. So why not make a new one? You have your idea, somebody else has to make it (or you have to learn how to mod). This means it belongs in the mod requests thread. Like you said though, you aren't jumping into the hardest parts of modding here, so you could just learn to do it yourself. I imagine you could churn out this mod in under a week, even if you started with 0 knowledge of modding. If you need help I will offer it, but if you want someone else to actually make it then go to the right thread.

DaxJorell
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a search and couldn't find anything: Mod for KOTOR I: Prestiege Classes. Is there a way a modder could add in Prestiege Classes to the original KOTOR? The way it would work would be based off Darklight Jedi Knight's "Jedi Mod" where you start the game off as an (unofficial) Jedi in a regular class that correesponds to the Jedi three classes: Scout = Sentinel Scoundrel = Counselor Soldier = Guardian So, basically, you are leveling up as your Jedi class from the start of the game like in The Sith Lords... But once you get to Dantooine, you can choose a second "official" Jedi Class like Sentinel, Guardian or Conselor and essentially "double stack" the two classes. (I envision that you would just be granted whatever feats and bonuses the second class normally has; no need to script special ones). Darklight's mod only allows you to level up in one class -- The one you chose at the beginning of the game. This is why I am requesting a "Prestiege Class" type of mod based on his so I can double-level in two classes. For example, level up a Counselor/Guardian combo which would be the equivalent to Watchman in TSL. Consequently, this also fits in with the storyline as well regarding Revan and whole identity crisis he/she has and won't effect DS or LS play thoughs (I don't think?). Is this possible? Would it screw up the game that much if it was implemented? Thank you for your time.

I can't recall which mod changed the classes.2da file for kotor 1. But there was a jedi mod that at character selection it still said soldier/scout/scoundrel but was actually guardian/counseler/sentinel. When you played through the game it gave you the option to change your class on dantooine as normal. I think this may be the mod that you want. Jedi MOD The draw back to this is that everybody in the game that had these classes now have been changed to the new jedi classes.
DaxJorell
Thank you for you reply. Originally posted by Darkkender I can't recall which mod changed the classes.2da file for kotor 1. I am using one now made by "Darklight Jedi" and it does just this (except just the main player character is whatever Jedi class you choose at the start). What I am asking -- if possible -- Is when you get to Dantooine if you can "stack" the class you choose at the Enclave on top of the one you are alread playing via the mod? In other words... I start the game as a Counselor (or whatever) and when I et to Dantooine... Can I also pick to be a Guardian and have the two classes "stack" like a Prestiege Class in The Sith Lords? (Basically, you are playing both a Conseulor and a Guardian at once through the rest of the game and leveling up with the feats and powers of both classes in your main player character) The current Mod I am using ONLY allows you to stay the Jedi Class you started the game as, regardless if you choose another (or the same one) once you get to Dantooine. Is what I am asking even possible in KOTOR without having to rewrite the core game code? If so, this is the kind of Mod I am looking for. Thank you agian for your prompt reply. When you say stack do you mean keep all of your old feats skills and powers? If the answer to that question is yes then yes everything stacks. However if what you mean is that you level up both as a Jedi counseler and as a Jedi guardian then no. Neither game does this. In K2 the prestige class replaces the standard class and you now begin leveling up with the abilities of your new class and retain all of your old class benefits. Now if you download the mod I directed you to above the jedi mod. And later when you reach dantoine you choose a different class you will have a different class now pretty much like happens in K2 when you get a prestige class. I have never seen nor used the jedi mod you are refering to so I don't know what differences are included in there. If you want to send me a link to the mod your talking about above I can see what changes he made to see what would work with that mod in particular. Thank you for clarifying this as I didn't know how TSL did this (replaced instead of added). Here is a link to the mod I am currently using: http://www.pcgamemods.com/10648/ It is called "Force Sensative v2.0" Once again, thank you for induldging me. This idea may also be something other players want as well if you decide to modify and or take this project on depending on its scope.
STDSkillz
Hello everyone: First off, I'm really sorry if this has been posted elsewhere. Anyway, does anyone remember the TSL trailer that came out months before the game was released? It featured a scene which involved Kreia using Force Crush on a Onderian Soldier. There was a very satisfying "crunch" when the back of the soldier was broken, in the trailer. Force Crush in the game, however, features no sound when the move is preformed. Is there anyway to add this sound, or has anyone done it? Thanks! STDSkillz

Ioini
I want to make a request to reskin the bald asian to one of those masked ninjas. Plus make it unique, I don't want to get NPCS running around with the same head head as me. PM me some pics to see if it's good or not. This is for TSL BTW.
