itchythesamurai
Or is it just the fans? In other news, one of my friends bought the Collected Sam and Max for $12 today at a used bookstore close to us.

itchythesamurai
Sorry, there seems to have been a bit of a misunderstanding, it was $6. At least he didn't get some kind of advanced copy of Spudvision too...yet...
SMNMX
I will personally nail him to the wall, pour black widows all over his body, castrate him with a rusty coat hanger, then steal his book, laughing maniacally all the while. I look for that book every time I go into a used book store!
itchythesamurai
Heh, you guys really put the fear into him. His previous Sam and Max knowledge consisted of me wearing a t-shirt.
Samnmax221
Every time I bid on one the damn price gets jacked up way over $40 dollars. I've gotta get a job over the summer
Metallus
Any kind of chance of winning one on ebay basically hinges on you NOT BIDDING, at all, until pretty much the last minute or 30 seconds that the item is open. If you bid earlier you will get outbid, as there will probably be 10 people watching it when it comes down to the wire. Bidding days before the item closes will only serve to prematurely inflate the price. I finally got a copy after looking for 4+ years (on ebay and elsewhere...the comic shop guys near me don't even know what Sam and Max is).
Jake
And you paid ten times the price of itchythesamurai's friend too!
SyntheticGerbil
Oh man, what a rip off. I remember getting it for 20 bucks. You guys suck for not being as cool as soon as possible.
Spynet
I think that Sam and Max is just one of those things that has a small group of extremely dedicated fans, but doesn't really appeal to the general populace, so corporate America won't give it a fair shot... or something.. SyntheticGerbil
Corporate America shouldn't give it a fair shot. Corporate America is a child molestor.
