IG-64
Last night, at about 1:30 AM, I'm talking to my bro over aim cause our computers are in seperate rooms. And, the doorbell rang. So we're both like, wtf? I go and answer it and some lady is there i've never seen before. She says "Is your father home? I know he's a police officer". Which is true, so once again i'm like wtf? So I close (and lock) the door and go into my parent's room, and wake my parents up. My dad goes and answers the door and she says some thing about knowing our next-door neighbor, so my dad tells her to come in. So she comes in, sits down on our couch, and talks to my dad awile. Now what I got of her story was this: She was at a bar with her husband, and her husband started to get violent, like pushing and shoving her. So the bartender guy tells him to get the heck out and don't touch her. Now, she's had a few drinks so the bartender calls a cab for her. So she's in the cab and the husband starts following her. Then the police show up and pull over the husband guy because he hasn't payed some tickets or something, and she kinda hints to the cab guy to get the heck outa there. So then they get pulled over and I guess she tells them what happened, and they start questioning her. You know, stuff like "How many drinks have you had?" and not believing her and such (started getting lifetime vibes here). So she tells them to go after her husband because he's the one that's drinking and driving and being violent, and such. So, I guess they leave her alone, and she continues in the cab to get to our neighbor's house, cause she's dated him before, and knows him. Now, our neighbor is at Las Vegas, so now she has nowhere to go. So she goes to the house across the street, but they don't have a key or anything, so she tries another house. You guessed it, our house. So now, we had this drunk chick, in our home, on our couch, with this guy stalking her, at 1:30 AM. Yeah. But it gets better. My dad then offers her to stay here for the night. Me and my bro did not like this. So she goes to sleep, in our home, on our couch, drunk, with this guy stalking her. So I and my brother go to sleep, and I wake up the next day and she's gone. So now it's all over and nothing.. else.. happend. But still, it was pretty freaky. [EDIT] Heres me and my bro's AIM log from last night (our neighbor's name is brian): IGTIBERIUS64 (1:27:37 AM): wtf >_> IG 64 Assassin (1:27:38 AM): wtf IGTIBERIUS64 (1:27:48 AM): <_< IGTIBERIUS64 (1:27:50 AM): >_> IGTIBERIUS64 (1:28:00 AM): who is it?<_< IGTIBERIUS64 (1:28:11 AM): is afraid to look* IGTIBERIUS64 (1:28:14 AM): >_> IG 64 Assassin (1:30:49 AM): something about brian >_> IGTIBERIUS64 (1:30:58 AM): wtf? RoxStar
0_0 <--- Astonished. In all seriousness, it sounds like your father was just trying to be the "good samartian" and help a stranger out. But, I wouldn't have allowed her into my home, I would've checked her into a motel somewhere or something. But where did she go in the morning? She said he'd be "sober now" or something. Yeah, my dad was just trying to be nice, but still.

I woulda payed for a hotel room for her, but I wouldn't feel safe with a drunk stranger in my house, either.

Especially you Christians, Jesus would be ashamed. Originally posted by tags couldn't you get in trouble for posting police buisness? Technically domestic disputes are a matter of public record. Second, I doubt any punishment was administered. That said, she needs to get out of that marriage fast. :\

ZBomber
bill, It's not about that. Your family has to come first, and it's not always the best idea to listen to a DRUNK person. Who knows if she was lying or not?
