seriously ,though we aint the same person we are brothers and he was interested in l ucas forums far before me. after a few months of him havin all the fun I decided to join in and I registered on another computer so we wouldn't have the same adress but i screwed it up and couldn't get the e-mail on my other comp to work so i registered on another since it was already half done thinking that it was no risk.

 

thanx for reading this and please note that this account was not made to spam the forums, i don't spam free sites. and I simply did not read the entirety of what spam includes and I'm sorry for any inconviences i may have caused.

If you both registered for Lucasforums, how come your brother hasn't created a new account or tried to rejoin Lucasforums?

If Darth333 banned (both of?) you, it was probably for good reason. While I would like to see her proof, I noticed that (both of?) you had an identical usage of spelling and grammar.

Actually it does not matter if you are the same or different people, and I can understand your plight, but it is against the rules of this forum network to have multiple accounts registered to the same IP address.

I am not that great at computers but I'm going to guess that it means that you can't have two accouts to the same email right?

 

 

And the story of you joining because of your brother is believable since I joined LucasForums because my friend (THE MANDALORE) told me so.

That too, but and IP address is the computer 'ID,' so no multiple accounts on the same computer.

*begins to crack up* um what most people don't realize is that an ip address unless it is a static ip address changes with every reboot and can easily be forged if the truely want to prevent people from creating mulitiple accounts they should be going by mac address but enough technical talk you should use your other computer

ok, let's clear things up:

 

Last week, Hallucination and PsionicBeverage went quite wild on the boards (read: spamming) and some of their posts gave me the impression that it was the same person trying to make fun of us. I compared the two accounts and it confirmed my thoughts.

 

However, the next day, I've been contacted by Hallucination who told me that they were brothers. I carried out some more in depth verifications and we found out that PsionicBeverage and Hallucination were not the same person and that they were really brothers and we made an exception to the IP rule. (I found some evidence of it so don't use it as an excuse to start multiple accounts under the same IP ).

 

The information has been made available to other mods, super mods and admins and we discussed the case (I tried to stay out of it and let others decide). Finally, it was unanimously agreed to keep both bans active for one week for spamming the boards and both of them were informed of the decision. As one week has elapse since then, the bans were lifted yesterday evening.

 

Hope this settles it.
