RC-1162
the married thing is in revenge of the babysat and ive read it before "A BABY? I DONT WANT A BABY!" "Our baby is a rabbit? how come we have a rabbit?" those lines really cracked me up.
Smilodon
Hehe, you know this one? "I know we made a mistake the minute I saw the little bologna loaf in the hospital basinet." I really like the references of his parents when they regret having Calvin after he did something annyoing them ^^

RC-1162
if you cant post the strip itself, just post the dialogs like i do. and dont worry, you can join even if you have only one book. one of calvins most true lines: he looks and a pile of trash left near a tree stump and says to hobbes, "Sometimes, I think that the surest sign that intelligent life exsists elsewhere is that none of it has tried to contact us yet." Vladimir-Vlada
Here's one I really liked: Calvin:"Dad, will you explain the Theory of relativity to me? I don't understand why time goes slower at great speed." Dad: "It's because you keep changing time zones. See, if you fly to California, you gain three hours on a five-hour flight, right? So if you go at the speed of light, you gain more time, because it doesn't take as long to get there, of course, the Theory of Relativity only works if you're going west." Calvin: "Gee, that's not what mom said at ALL! She must be totally off her rocker." Dad: "Well, we men are better at abstract reasoning, go tell her that." Yeah, right . OMG! no really i didnt mean it. go shoot calvins dad dammit, NO!

Aash Li
Abstract reasoning is not logical reasoning. They arent the same. And I think guys are better at abstract reasoning... if youve ever heard a bunch of guys telling stories about their exploits in whatever, then youd agree too. When it comes to being logical about stuff, usually women are better... but it depends on the person.

I don't think abstract and logical reasoning is restricted to gender, I think it varies from person to person... Edit: I guess I shouldn't say restricted... rather, just that both genders are probably about equally capable of both reasoning’s...
