PoM Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 *insert some useful litterature complaining about whether the cartoon "Angry beavers" is about weasels or not about weasels here*
Ray Jones Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Why should "Angry Beavers" be about weasels?
DrMcCoy Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 My point exactly! EDIT: And why (and how) did you rename yourself, Ray?
Ray Jones Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Because me hacked teh LF!! Bwahaha--*snort* .. .. ok, I didn't. I did like everyone does. I asked for it. Kindly. ;D And I did because it feels cool. ^^

90SK Posted September 27, 2005 Author Posted September 27, 2005 What does "Gat-itude" mean? Is it some lame conjunction of "Garfield / Cat" and "Attitude", or is it some crappy form of the word "Garfield"? *barf*
Fealiks Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 ouch. garfield the movie really pissed me off cause it didnt have half the comedy of the comic strips. Garfield two?! they actually got enough from garfield 1 to make another movie?!?! REALLY?!?!!!??? holy sh*t... my guess is it'll be garfield drawn on in MS. Paint onto a crappy cardboard cut out backdrop.
Kjølen Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Well that appears to be Spanish, Portugese, or French or something, so it's probably short for "gato", which is "cat" in Spanish at least.
Alien426 Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Garfield was a financial success it seems. At an estimated $50,000,000 budget it got around $75,000,000... All the people who complain about it should have checked reviews and then NOT gone to the theater or bought the DVD. It's the same as with buggy games. People buy too much crap and then complain. There's a bazillion review sites out there and most are competent enough to give warnings. But no, people have to be part of the hip crowd and be able to engage in discussions. While I encourage everyone who wants to talk about something to have experienced it first hand (something that seems to be missing in most Boll discussions I witness), I do believe that consumers can set signs by just not buying or (when concerning games) waiting for a patched version (which is also less costly).
Mr Cheese Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 The worst thing about it was that THE VET LIKED JON!!! What were they thinking? Jon is a loser who will never get a girlfriend! They screwed all that up!
90SK Posted October 2, 2005 Author Posted October 2, 2005 I know! And what ever happened to Lyman, Jon's old roommate? Odie was Lyman's dog to begin with. They completely altered everything! Like, the only similarities between comic and movie are the names of the characters. That, and the fact that Garfield is seemingly overweight, though to be fair the animated Garfield in the movie looked more like a sheep than a cat.
Mr Cheese Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Hee hee... More like a sheep than a cat.... I don't think I could have made the movie worse if I tried... Actually, whenever I try to make something bad, I always end up making it good. I'm a perfectionist.
