((Korf, Reynolds is the captain, Orlov is the second in command. ))

Reynolds and Orlov collected their money and went back to the ship. Reynolds admired the coralskipper.

"Never seen one of these up close. Quite a ship." He said, mostly to himself, then boarded the ship.

There they divided the money among the crew, but set most of it aside in case they ever needed repairs or the like. Burne piloted the ship out. Once there Reynolds quickly scrolled through the list of jobs currently available. He saw one that was extremely near, and smiled. Things were looking up. The Fable entered hyperspace.

"They'll agree, young Skywalker," Riebe said. "Give them time."

She turned to where Elron was standing.

"And you, young man," she said. "I sense the Dark Side in you, which would immediately cause the BC to say..." She extended a hand in a 'Mind Trick' like motion toward one of the BC members.

"Out, you filthy slime rat!" that member screamed. It was obvious Riebe had controlled her to make her say that and Riebe turned back to Elron as the BC member covered her mouth with her hand in horror of the words that had just come out.

"But I have a somewhat different approach," Riebe went on. "You simply have different views of how things should be done."

"Damn right he does," one of the BC members grumbled. Riebe seemed to ignore him, but he was yanked abruptly from his chair and sprawled awkwardly across the floor.

"So tell me," Riebe went on. "What's your name? And why have you come to a place where hostility is this intense?"

As the ship took off, Kayla looked sadly down at the planet they were leaving. She was going to miss Elron, who the crew now always referred to as 'the new guy' or 'the newbie'. When the ship entered hyperspce she sighed and turned away.

"Why so glum?" Asked Burne, who had come down from the cockpit, he served himself a glass of water and began drinking.

"I don't know. I think I'm gonna miss the new gu-"

Burne spit the water out. "You're kidding me, right?"

"No."

"You're not kidding me! Oh man, trust me, whatever impression you got, it's the wrong one."

"Why? What's so bad about him?"

"Other then living on a planet that not even smugglers use as a hideout?"

"Yeah."

Burne sighed.

"I can't believe I'm the one who has to tell you this. Remember when we picked up Cuth?"

"Yeah, you guys brought him onboard, that there was some psycho chasing after him, later he turned out to be able to use the force."

"Well, this guy you've taken a shine to? He's the psycho."

"What?! That can't be right. He told me his story, he said he never leaves the planet."

Burne shrugged. "He exaggerated."

Kayla shook her head. "I can't believe this."

Mission: Aquire goods from town bank

Location: Ord Mantell

Special considerations: Serene-class ship preferred, time-sensitive: 2 days.

Reynolds frowned as he saw the special considerations. It was rare that people ask for a specific type of ship, but not unheard of. It was good luck, meant there wouldn't be many people after the same job.

((Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted for a while))

Elron grinned as a 'BC' member tummbled to the ground and the other Jedi in front of him spoke.

"Why am I here?" Elron repeated. "I can't be totally sure myself. Although...there is one reason." he said, looking at Tysyacha. "I didn't know I had any family left."

He had to stop himself from turning around as a thought spiked across his mind.

I'm going to miss him.

His heart panged.

I'm going to miss her too.

"That explains who you are," Riebe said. She turned fully to face him. "Welcome to the Jedi Academy... Elron."

She stared into his eyes. "Yes, I know who you are. In fact, now that I see you clearly, I wonder that I did not recognize you before." After a moment of astonished silence, Riebe said, "Tell me, Elron, where were you raised? Better question; what is the first event of your life that you remember?"

Riebe frowned thoughtfully. "I believe your memories have been tampered with... you were born in space... weren't taken to Mustafar until you were a year old. But I can see you don't remember me. I was your caretaker... until you turned seven."

((May strike Elron as unbelieveable since Riebe doesn't appear to be more than 19 or 20.))

Now Elron knew this woman was crazy. She claimed to have been his caretaker...but that would be impossible! She hardly looked a day older than twenty!

"Sorry, but I think that your memories were tampered with. There's no way in hell you'd have been able to take care of me when you've barely even made it out of your teenage years!"

Riebe chuckled. "It does seem rather surprising, doesn't it?" She sighed. "But I am older than I look." She whirled. "Caitlin Bryce!"

Caitlin stood slowly. "Yes, Master?"

"Tell young Elron how you know me," Riebe commanded. Caitlin turned to Elron.

"Riebe Sothe is my former Master," Caitlin said. She grinned. "You must be thinking I've up and gone insane now too... but think of it this way; who but a person who's had plenty of time to study it could use the Force to make Jedi say anything?" She gestured to the BC.

"To put it simply, I haven't aged much," Riebe answered, grinning in a sort of amused way. "In the last 2000 or so years, I have aged only three."

"She didn't look any different when she trained me some 50 years ago," Caitlin chuckled, taking her seat once more. Riebe's eyes didn't leave Elron.

"Do you remember me now?" she asked quietly.

"Hard to understand? Yes," Riebe answered. "Impossible?" She spun in a slow, full circle. "Apparently not." She shrugged. "It's a long story... and you'll need all three of us," she gestured to Jack and Strider, "telling it to hear the full thing."

"But there is a quicker alternative," she went on. "Your family has always been very good at keeping track of history, even when the Empire wiped a lot of it out by destroying the Jedi. Even better... remember the stories I used to tell you about the Sith Hunters?"

Okay...this was getting weirder by the second. Sith Hunters? Still alive? Was that even possible?

"So you mean to tell me..." he said, "That you three are the only ones left of the immortal Sith Hunters? And because of that, you were my caretaker so long ago?" She nodded.

He let out a harsh, disbelieving laugh.

"Hehahahahaha!! So...so you're serious??" When her face darkened, Elron took that as a 'yes' and said, "Alright..." he had calmed down, "Then tell me. What are the family heirlooms that were given to me at birth?"

"Well you do have a choice of being a delusional fool and refusing to believe." Said Jack, then shrugged. "But believing is easier on the reputation and a smarter choice"

========

The Fable landed in the desert, close to the town they were supposed to attack. The crew met at the cargo hold.

"All right, Kayla, Burne, you two stay with the ship. Orlov, Cuth, and I will head into town, grab the stuff, and head out." Said Reynolds

"It's the rest hour, so the town should be pretty quiet." Said Orlov.

"Good now-" He noticed what Orlov was carrying. "How many guns are you taking!?"

Orlov shrugged. "Well, I like to keep my options open."

"I don't plan on any taking place, you know!"

"Well, what you plan and what goes down aren't always anything but similar."

Reynolds sighed. "All right. Let's get going."

They all climbed onto the mule, and rode into town. There they quietly made their way to the bank, before drawing their weapons. Orlov and Reynolds immediately shot the security feeds.

"Hello everyone, this is a robbery. We'd appreciate it if you all" A man suddenly ran towards Orlov, Orlov hit him in the chest, knocking him over, and aimed one of his guns at him.

"Bad idea, boy." He said.

Reynolds continued. "Get down on the ground and stay quiet." Cuth pointed to a man, and Orlov walked over. The man was about to draw a gun, Orlov punched him in the face, knocking him out.

Reynolds walked over to the security boxes.

"Y'all ought to be looking very intently at your toes right now. If you look up, is going to ensue. Now " He shot the lock off the security deposit safe they'd been hired to take. "Thank you for your cooperation, and have a plaeasant day."

The trio walked out and got on the mule. They quickly rode out of town.

========

The man watched the robbery go down with interest. This was definately the group that had taken the . There was no way they could've gotten there fast if they hadn't been near Kalahan. He activated his comlink.

"It's them. You have the order."

"But we have gotten horribly off subject," Riebe said. "We are here to convince the BC to allow you and Tysyacha to remain until you should choose to leave."

"Oh, they can stay," one of the BC members growled. "But don't expect us to offer kindness."

"You Jedi are so... hostile," Riebe complained. Suddenly, she seemed very angry. "You will do what I say you'll do," she hissed. "No getting around it. You will treat Elron and Tysyacha as you would your own students."

"We don't mean to upset you, Hunter," one of the BC members said quickly. "Please..."

"Then do as I command," Riebe snapped. "You know what happens when you displease the Sith Hunters." Her eyes narrowed. "Don't let it happen."

"Elron and Tysyacha are welcome on Yavin IV," another said. The others agreed and Caitlin spoke up.

"So it is settled," she said. "The present case is dismissed. Elron adn Tysyacha are free to wander Yavin IV as they please."

Then, Riebe seemed to relax. "I hope the rest of your meeting is pleasant," she said. She bowed and left.
