RedHawke Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Those that don't give him a chance are missing a golden opportunity, even with his irritating voice and LS character demeanor, he is a powerful NPC, and really the Handmaiden is a poor replacement for Deciple as he can do so much more. Though the Handmaiden is easier on the eyes, she just isn't as useful as the Deciple.

While I will agree that his demeanor can be a tad obnoxious, his value as a party member more than makes up for it.

I would have released it, but then I noticed someone had done it.

I never found the dialogue revealing the fact that he was a Republic Spy. I jsut assumed he was after the transmission he makes to the admiral. When, if at all, is it actually revealed?

However, Bao-Dur will always have my heart. Also he managed to figure out that the Exile was a wound in the Force, in only a few weeks/months traveling with her and it took the Jedi Council neary ten years to do that

He is an academic, a scholar and a historian. If you don't like him because he is a "pompous english man" then I think that that is like hating James Bond because he is a woman. (and he isn't )

The Doctor Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 ^He was trained as a Jedi at one point, I think. The voice actor wasn't bad, the voice just didn't fit the character, IMO.
