Its more likely its the real voice. He did afterall act in Tiberian Sun as General Solomon. So its very possible they got him to do the voice as he would know the Petro people.

I doubt that they did get him to do it. Usually the actos don't do their voice in video games, though I guess there are some exceptions to that. But I still think it was a voice actor.

Well, listen carefully to it.

 

The first time you hear Vaders voice, it doesn't sound exactly right.

The second time I am dead sure it's Jones' voice we hear, but I'm also pretty sure it's 2 clips fused together. Probably from the movies, but I can't quite put my finger from where. The last time we hear him, it's very hard to tell again, since basically he just says "FIRE!".

i really like the trailer, but i cant imagine any company would put pre-alpha "content" like the planet with the grid in. probably i am just wroing

WOW, I know I'm a bit late, but I just watched it.

Tie Fighter was an old flight sim game. That featured Darth Vader in the campaign, during a few cutscenes and in game. I dont think that James Earl Jones is doing the voice for EaW, but if he was that would be amazing.
