narfblat Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Check out this Crazy Christmas display. Glad I don't have their electric bill. Edit: the website I linked to is no longer working. it can now be found at http://media.putfile.com/WizardsofWinter-SM . (Thanks to RoxStar)
Nerd_Annhilator Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 . . . I'm glad I don't live near them.I bet they get a lot of complaints about it from people who are trying to sleep. Holy freaking crap.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 They have too much time on their hands.
TiE23 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Dear lord, this would make Thomas Edison proud.
Pie™ Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 That's pretty awesome though, I wonder if they can use other songs too.
Lightsaberboy Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 so does the music actually play or is it just added into the vid? cause if i were a neighbor i'd be annoyed by a constant repeating song.
MarcusLeCoy Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Hehehehe that was funny. Think of how long it took to program those lights... to match the song exactly. Trial and error
RoxStar Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 The electric bill wouldn't be too bad, considering that the lights only flash. But anyways, if that was going constantly, no one in their neighborhood would be able to sleep, especially the people in that house. Or else you'd have weird dreams where lights were flashing to metalish music.
Black Knight of Keno Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 You gotta admit, that IS extremely awsome. Wonder how it would look to program it to play Black Sabbath, ACDC or ZZtop on that thing... >.> <.< *drewl*
TiE23 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 They should do this on a constant loop, that would send anyone into a seizure, or make them rip their ears off.
edlib Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I suspect that the display is nowhere near that intricate, and that much of the syncing to the music was done in video editing. Call me a cynic if you wish...
RoxStar Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 That song rules, does anyone know what it is?
narfblat Posted November 21, 2005 Author Posted November 21, 2005 "Wizards in Winter" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They do a lot of metalish Christmas music.
Writer Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 me must get Trans-Siberian Orchestra CDs!! I must say that's pretty cool!

narfblat Posted November 24, 2005 Author Posted November 24, 2005 It is also now on thatvideosite.com I couldn't find it there. That site is full of ads that lead to bad websites. I don't have anywhere to upload it at the moment, but I could email it to you. I don't know if my hotmail account can hold it, but I would like a copy sent to me too. narfblat@hotmail.com
