EaW Box Art Released

Hoth wasn't created in ESB you know, it's been around for milllenias. ;)

Just like Neptun has been around for millenias before it was discovered. :)

Like I said before, when a unit or object appeared in the movies or novels etc. is irrelevant. What's relevant is when it was created.

good idea! hehe. Also, not all PC games are in slim cases like in Europe. And who knows, maybe a limited edition?

Message from Popcorn2008: Avoid Double posting by using the edit button in the lower right corner of a message if you need to add information. Thanks!

I agree, you have to see Aggie just because it wasn't shown doesn't mean it didn't exsist..

Here in America the boxes were big cartons, then they came out with smaller size cartons. Now I have seen SOME being made into video game type console cases like a x-box case for example, but a little thicker...

Jmaster please avoid posting useless replies. If he did see it before why would he have posted saying he didnt? Stay on topic and avoid spamming.

Ok, sorry and didn't he just made a spam post saying "YA R L Y" sorry anyways people have gone off topic before and spammed, but ok sorry. Anyways, I like the cover art of the game as well, its a nice look.

The Mods get to slide a little on the spamming. j/k lol. It's okay dont worry about just reminding you.

To be on topic though, the one thing that I thought was curious about the box is the gold edge which signified the gold edition of Battlefront II. I wonder if this is really the special edition or regular?

Yeah, i personally don't like special editions that much, if there what i think they are. Not much different just some bonuses for extra money, lol. Good point you brought up Popcorn. :twogun:

Here in Europe, most PC releases has been in DVD cases (or console cases you might say too :) ) for a very long time now. Unless when the manual is so big and heavy, or other things follow the game, that it can't fit in the casing.

Popcorn says that the imagine is from Amazon so, it's an American box right? No offence taken, but i like slim dvd boxes more, since they don't take so much space as these boxes; also, companies nowadays do not make big manual (unfortunately....) so that a big box is needed.

Only some flight sims (very few) have big manuals.........anyway, i don't want to change the topic to "why companies save money by producing smaller manuals" :)

Actually. You can get the image from the official website. I was sent it a little while back. Games that require big manuals do get them, however, if the tutorial is spot on, the need for a large manual is reduced.

Rebellion had a huge manual and frankly, that kind of thing scares people off. Just to touch briefly on 'cost'. I worked on a game back in 2002/03 which was really bad (wont reveal title) but was a movie licenced game. I was stunned that the game cost over £1million to make. It went to number one in the chart briefly but considering it wasnt that good, shows just how much a game can cost
