igyman
Nah, there's no way those two would be party members. If you get a new character, they will probably only be mentioned, Revan would possibly appear in a flashback cinematic, wearing that body armor of his. I still hope Revan will be the character you play as, though.
Feagildin
I'm all for a new PC with Revan as the mentor character of the game. Kinda like Kreia, only not playable. But still travel with your party. As for the Exile, I'm currently at a loss of what could possibly be said/done about him.

Sneaky
Heh, who says there has to be one PC? What would be really nice is if you got a completely new character, and spent half the game figuring out where the two jedi had gone (along with all of their buddies) and the other half of the game fighting as Revan and the Exile in the unknown regions. DarthOxyClean
Hmm.. a new PC. I prefer hearing that Revan has left Known Space (dont get me wrong, revan's good!). And would like to only see the Exile...actually....i would rather hear about him also. I just think that its time for a new PC to step in. But we do need to find out what happened to the Exile before KOTOR 2. (im talking about the hole in the force) Except for the fact that the Exile could also be female, and no matter how hard she and Visas/Handmaiden try, they won't be able to have a child. Great. Thanks for putting those thoughts in my mind.

darklord_malak
you should be either the exile or revan in the game eventually, and when you do they should be jedi master level 1 not just level 1. The cast from the second one had problems, Bastilla and Carth have to be in it because they are looking for revan. Mandalore is probably the coolest from the kotor 2. i think some new characters would be cool too.

Amen to that!! I say stick to one, and that goes for lightsabers, too. Either double bladed or single, but not two singles or a single and a short. I can't stand those set ups now, though I used to.....[/end off topic rant]
DarthOxyClean
you should be either the exile or revan in the game eventually I guess agree with that, ONLY IF when you play as them, it should only be for a certain misson, for example, your PC get captured and the only one who can rescue him/her is revan/exile. That doesnt have to be the exact scenario, but it should be where revan/exile can be the only one in your party at the time, and that they are the only ones right for the job. And they should only be playable in that one part of the game.
darklord_malak
i guess, but to a certain point these characters have been built up from previous games, i can't find one person who doesn't love revan. even in the second game he was made god throughout. Lightdagger would be exactly what the name says, a dagger, but with a laser blade, like the sabers. Imagine fighting with two of those, or against a Sith with one, or two of those. Now, since this is a thread about the main character in K3 (I should know, I posted it), how about your main character invents this weapon? Prime
you should be either the exile or revan in the game eventuallyThat is assuming that K3 would be about Revan in the first place, which is a big assumption. Even if K3 continues the story, you can do so without having them as playable characters. and when you do they should be jedi master level 1 not just level 1. But that is the problem. Where do you go from there? Jedi Master is pretty much the epitomy of the Jedi Order. You kill the majority of the character development by starting them at a high level with all sorts of powers. Then there is the problem of challenging the player. By the end of K1 and K2 you can pretty much wipe the floor with the minions like troopers and dark Jedi without any effort. So what do you do if you play Revan and the Exile when they are even more powerful? Every enemy you face can't be of the boss variety, because that makes no sense storywise. And restarted them at level 0 again (especially Revan) would be extremely lame. I think it is safe to assume that if there is a K3 you will be playing a new character. The cast from the second one had problems, Bastilla and Carth have to be in it because they are looking for revan. But in the games of a lot of players they are dead already. darklord_malak
i just gave an example of that, i enjoy most about the game is building characters and their powers. i think it would be extremely difficult to make people not want to be revan. revan is my favorite sith

I have an idea- if you played like me, Revan is the sith lord from K1 (who eventually beats the rebels), but must hunt down and kill the exile (from k2). As you progrees thru the game you either grow stronger in the dark side, or turn back to the light which will make you weak as you transition from dark to light and you don't know which side the exile is or when he'll strike, or who his allies are. That should make it REAL interisting.
Revan435
voted for revan but after reading your post i think a new pc should b made. but i would like to know what happened with the exile and revan
TKA-001
If the player started as Revan or the Exile, then they'd be really powerful, and that would take the challenge out of the game. Thus, KOTOR 3 (if there ever will be one) should have a completely new character.
Web Rider
I'm going to have to say a new character, and perferably some non-human ones. Revan's been dealt with in one way or another, the the Exile well...was kinda a bust IMO. Plus it's always more fun when the character is all unique and you dont have to deal with old plot lines coming back, make the game designers THINK! Revan13251
Kotor 3 should use a new character because there could be no cool plot twists like in kotor 1. The exile doesn't have a name and niether Revan or the exile have a specified gender. I would like to see Revan in the game though but not as an npc. Lord Foley
Revan, because no one is as powerful as him, and he is God, save for Vader.
reven0123
A new character. Building your character is is essential to an RPG. Both Revan and the Exile are powerfull characters at the end of the games. Reusing them would be forced, I mean does anybody want to see Revan or the Exile mindwiped or cut off from the Force again? i agree defintley they need a new character just so long as thier not "the last of the jedi". Delta_Folee
Revan should definateley be the main character in K3 because they still havent freaking explained what happened to him. BTW Revan and the Exile should meet up because in the end of TSL the Exile goes out into the unknown regions where Revan went in the end of KOTOR! Clone L68362
I still hope Revan will be the character you play as, though. Having Revan as a party member is more feasible than having him as the PC!
igyman
I really don't think he'd appear as a party member, he'd have to wear some kind of mask all the time and not to mention adding a voice for him (or her, but I think it's him). Btw, I'm glad to see my thread hasn't completely died out.
