TiE23
http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1697,1941633,00.asp The blazing system, first demonstrated at this past January's Consumer Electronics Show, will break the 4-GHz barrier, thanks to a dual-core Intel Pentium 965 Extreme Edition processor overclocked from 3.73 GHz to 4.26 GHz. The system also comes with nVidia's Quad-SLI 3D graphics solution, which consists of four GeForce 7900GTX graphics processors (residing on four linked cards) to churn pixels and textures out at a faster rate then ever. The Quad-SLI setup pumps its turbocharged graphics to an included 30-inch Dell 3007WFP widescreen LCD display at its full 2,560-by-1,600 resolution. .... You'll pay a hefty $9,930 for the XPS 600 Renegade though, but keep in mind that Dell includes its massive 30-inch 3007WFP in that package. The AGEIA PhysX PPU will also be available in the lower-priced XPS 400 ($1,239 base price) and the XPS 600 ($2,039) systems as well. My Dad sent this to me when he was a work, this is just crazy. Wonder how that puppy kitten would purr if I ever got it.

edlib
From what I understand: There's only going to be about 30 of them made... and the orders are all taken already. ( http://www.hardocp.com/news.html?news=MTc3NTQsLCxobmV3cywsLDE= ) Seems like overkill to me... I've never needed that much performance for any game... or anything else I use my computer to do, for that matter. I think I'll wait until all that technology comes in a stock, bottom-of-the-line, $300 bargain model, thanks. It might take a while, but someday we will all wonder what all the hoopla was about. El Sitherino
See, I could build a system just like that for a little over a third the price and without the ****ty paintjob. The thing looks like something an elephant ****s after eating a bunch of magic mushrooms.
Jeff
Yeah, I think the design of the case is good, but the paint job isn't doing it for me. But I don't understand why someone would want this, other than to say "I have the best gaming computer in the world!" For that price it's a bit rediculous, since we can't even take full advantage of those specs yet. But that's just me.
Det. Bart Lasiter
It has an Intel chip that got owned by the AMD FX series even at 4.26 Ghz (and will do even worse in comparison when the AM2 socket CPU's are out with DDR2-800). It also has four cards that require specialized drivers that probably are made by Dell (s***). It's GPU's have slow clock speeds and will be obsolete when nVidia (or ATI for that matter) releases their new GPU in a few weeks in preparation for the launch of Windows Vista (which is also around the time this computer is to be released). 30 people have been f***ed out of $10,000. We should have a moment of silence for them. Then I'll get my GTX 512's back up to 700/1820 and my FX-55 back up to 3600 and get better framerates, as well as a good laugh at their expense. ***Edit*** Also, this is pretty old, other system builders are already making them with GF 7900's: http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_quadsli.html

Better Quality, better performance, and you don't get stuck with a crappy case. I'll wait for the technology to drop in price or for software to catch up with the tech, then build a new screamin machine for myself. Thanks anyway Dell.
