We're gonna use a fan brush here.

And I want you to take some Hunter Green.

And we'll put a happy little bush right down over here in the corner.

And that'll just be our little secret.

And if you tell anyone that that bush is there I will come to your house and I will cut you!

I'm as merciless in online forums as I am in Jedi Academy. Heh.

You mean you're a bad sport everywhere? I can believe that :dozey:

But anywayz, back to the thread... all we need now is a new Mario Paint game from Nintendo themselves. Because it'd just me madness to release the NRV without a Mario Paint game lol.

Or a new Pikmin game for that matter lol. I love Pikmin, it showed us that RTS doesn't have to involve wars XD

Don't make an assumption on someone's notoriety in ignorance just because you haven't heard of him next time. The world does not revolve around your opinion (thank the lord).

*cries*

Doh! It was on Discovery Real Time all the time - how could I have missed it!!! There must be at least 4 people who watch that channel! They will make a mint! ;)

How come all the weird tv painters have big hair and beards? Maybe thats where i went wrong as an artist.... :(

Also, seeing as it is indeed on Wikipedia, that list may be entirely bull****. :)

That is of course correct. However, in turn it may also be true. It's not possible to make that assumption, which is arguably just as bad as taking it on faith. Even the Encyclopaedia Brittanica has errors after all. The fix for this, of course, is to do your own research.

And...

So, there's Germany at least, giving some credence to the list. There's apparently even a German fan forum... jeez, where'd they find THAT?

It is currently listed on Discovery Real Time, which is actually shown in other areas besides Britain, including, say, Singapore.

AT5 has it listed. And last I checked, even THEY call him legendary.

So that's 3 so far. Do I need to continue to prove that at least the list is accurate, which lends more than a little credibility to the argument I made?

The method of delivery is irrelevant, correctness on the other hand is.

Lathain, you ever thought that toms meant he wasn't known worldwide like say... U2 and maybe offered Rolph Harris as a joke alternative?

Wow, some broadcaster in a few countries outside of the US have played his show. Doesn't mean he's the hottest thing out there and that the masses have all watched his show or even CARE who he is. Just because his show has been broadcast out of the US means NOTHING. A tonne of shows make it out of the US and most of them fall under the radar. So someone has made a forum about Bob Ross somewhere, that's no big deal, there are forums made about a lot of subjects and not all of them are popular subjects ;)

:dozey: and if this asshattery does continue I'm just gonna close the thread and be done with it.

Congratulations on failing Mr. Former. I actually almost never watched the show... Did you even read what you pasted? It makes no sense in relation to me, because, surprise, I actually did a little research before I said anything.

Now then, a little rational thinking...

To your rhetorical question: No, because unlike you I don't have the ability to read minds over the Internet like you seem to have. I have to go with what's there. And surprise, I went with what exactly was said.

To your weirdly lengthy rant: That would make sense... the pronlem with that logic is that it is an assumption that is not backed up. I could very easily make the reverse assumption, and in fact as a general rule the wide proliferation of something tends to be a general indication of some form of notoriety, past or present moreso than not. This is mainly because TV stations are usually (not always, but usually) business-oriented and want some form of ratings.

Then there's the interesting point that the show is... what, a decade old? And yet it's somehow still around on foreign stations...? With the context thus considered, the evidence supports my conjecture more than it does yours.
