Prime
Could any animephiles point out like, the smoothest or the most detailed anime out there? Like fluid stuff, movies and TV series. I haven't seen very much so far.Although much is CG, Macross Zero has a pretty detailed look... http://www.yellowlightman.com/macross/macrosszero/episodeonegallery/
Lynk Former
*loves Macross Zero* Eh, i've always thought anime is just a passing fad. Not that I don't like it, some of it is pretty good. But I think it'll drop in popularity over time. Well so far it's been over 20 years worth of anime that the western world has been exposed to and the popularity rate is at its highest. Just as long as the Japanese studios make sure to try to keep things fresh I don't see it becoming any less popular than it is now. It's kinda the same with videogames that way. One thing I don't like about anime is that no matter what anime it is, it'll always have that one character, or episode, ect. that's just weird, doesn't make any sense, and leaves you saying "wtf?". You're right there will always be at least one thing wierd about an anime, but then again I'm a lot of what the Japanese culture has is extremely strange to us so it's pretty much just a cultural gap you're seeing in effect. I mean there are strange things about western cultures which we choose to accept without another thought and we have equally strange stories to tell as the ones found in animes. I'm sorry, but did this dumbass say "highly detailed anime" or something like that? Because most of it looks like minimalistic ****. In fact, being stabbed in the eye with a frozen piece of **** > anime. Yeah that's the kinda crap you see on TV. I don't call that lanky... I call that anorexic... And I watched Champloo. Anorexic? Fat Fuu is not impressed. Until I see sunken cheeks and their bones through their skin they simply have long lean muscles As for me, I pretty much agree with toms about where Disney is headed these days. The last Disney movie I really truly liked was The Lion King. And as for anime, love it, I watch as many animes as I can get my hands on, from the usual action, adventures and scifi (+sub genres) to the comedies and romantic comedies, slice of life and just plain wierd ones... Commander Obi-Wan
Is Pokemon anime? I use to like it, not anymore though. I honestly don't like anime, but I don't hate it.
Det. Bart Lasiter
Pokemon is anti-anime. It is to anime what an anti-neutrino is to a neutrino.
