samuel
As you all know, Hanharr is probably the most boring character in kotor . Well, whether or not thats true, it makes for a flimsy excuse to create Hanharr's wookiee survival kit! Ill post some pics tmorrow hopefully, but in this kit there will be variants of ryyyk blade, the traditional bowcaster as seen in Revenge Of the Sith and Hanharr's lightsaber (the hilt casing is a rancor tooth). Well, pointless post until i have pics (tomorrow hopefully), but i was darn excited as this is my first mod since i released the Scythe Blade. Reclaimer
Sounds good, but Hanharr with a lightsaber? Are you giving him Force Abilities?
~DarthGeek~
That'd be good because most people don't like darkside cause you get Hanharr and can't make him a jedi. Nice idea with the rancor tooth lightsaber.
samuel
Ok, heres the model of the bowcaster so far. Its modelled off Chewie's EPIII bowcaster http://Removed a picture of the bowcaster from the movie is here http://www.rebellegion.com/chewie/bowcaster_B_004.jpg Any suggestions or inconsistencies that you know of here, plz tell me! Im moving onto the lightsaber soon, but i might throw in a few other wookiee weaps from the movie
Reclaimer
Not bad, not bad at all. Now for the Rancor's tooth, is it going to be curved? And is the white tooth going to be visable, followed buy the metal half of the lightsaber?
samuel
Well I was thinking i would have it curved, the whole thing is a tooth but the metal emitter protrudes from the end of the tooth a bit.
Reclaimer
Well I was thinking i would have it curved, the whole thing is a tooth but the metal emitter protrudes from the end of the tooth a bit. That sounds just like Tenal Ka's lightsaber from the Young Jedi Knight series. Nice. Can't wait to see more of this.
samuel
Ok, heres the basic shape of Hanharr's saber hilt. I still have to put the skin on (as i am yet to do on the bowcaster aswell), but this is the basic idea: http://Removed

samuel
OK, the model for the saber is pretty much finalised. The following pic is the finalised model with partial texturing (the emitter will have the kotor saber reflection map on it) http://Removed
Det. Bart Lasiter
MudRat_02, you image host wants to know if I want to "f*** local girls"... you may wish to consider a different one if you're going to post the links here... On the subject of the saber however, it looks great, I love the texture you skinned it with too
RedHawke
I'm really sorry about this MudRat_02, I had to remove your image links... The ads there are just too vulgar for this forum, this is a family freindly forum. Please secure some new image hosting, there are links above in the Where can I host my mods / pictures? thread. Again, I love the models and the pics, but the adds there were just a little too much. I know this wasn't your fault.
The_Maker
Imageshack would be a good alternative IMO, unless you have your own webhost then you could just use that but if you don't I highly reccomend the former
