I dl'd the forceware, it runs great now. On a side note, don't plug your headphones into a front mouted jack if you wanna be able to hear the voice acting.

 

So yeah, I'm running a Geforce 7300 LE with no graphical issues. Both KOTOR and KOTOR II.

On the computer I posting his message in, Im running A Geoforce MX 440. Also know as the crappy card with no shader support :) . But the computer I actually run Kotor 2 on, I got a ATI Saphire 9250, both are ancient, but they run K2 with alot to spare. If you were using the card to jsut play K2, then I'd go for a geoforce MX 440, but, It blows for jsut about every other game. Good Hunting!

The problem you were having is a bug in the forceware drivers that was recently fixed that made your vid card incompatible with a pentium D processor when running some older opengl games, if your interested in knowing just what the problem was.

 

Edit: agp or pcie? I'm using a 7600gs pcie card and it renders KOTOR I & II beautifuly. There are some very minor stuttering issues with KII in the Telos citadel station's main corridor, but that is a bug in the forceware drivers and not an issue with the card itself. Depending on your budget, I'd stay clear of any 64bit cards like the 7300 or 6200, as well as any FX series or earlier cards. If you're looking for an agp card, I don't know as my 2 agp based rigs have ATI cards in them.
