Silveredge9
Here are a few images of a reskin of the Sith Soldier uniform that I'm currently working on in preperation for a project that I'll be properly starting after I finish my exams in the coming weeks. I was going for the 'wear anything you can find laying around, even if it's horribly rusty' look. But yeah, this will be part of a New Area mod that I'm currently planning. Anyways, opinions and suggestions are welcome.
Ghost Down
Hmm, looks a bit TO rusted.. - Dream Evil
90SK
Hmm, I did something similar to a base armor re-skin: depending on where you intend to implement the modified soldier, I'd suggest heeding Dream Evil's advice and toning down the rust.
mjpb3
Hmmm, what if you just used patches of rust in different places on the armor instead of all over?
Silveredge9
I could perhaps tone it down slightly. It's mean't to be used in a situation where the armor would have been in some barren environment for a long time and then used as armour. It's still a work in progress anyways. Lit Ridl
I think you needn't so rusty armor. Down it a little. And if you want to make it more real may be it will be good to down its properties (like dexterity penalty -1) a little.
rictus135
I think tone it down in some places, but leave others just as rusty. I will make it seem almost as ruined without being quite so overwhelming. Also, if the metal is rusty, shouldn't the material be faded (and if it is for a specific race, full of holes too.)
mimic666
Looks great... maybe you could put some ancient Sith symbols if you decide to put this in one of the tombs on Korriban.
The_Maker
Yeah, looks rather ancient and rusty, but I agree... a wee bit TOO much rust. perhaps some patches of shine? Anyhow, very nice reskin you got there mate.
Silveredge9
Toned down the rust in some areas. XD
The_Maker
Much better I also like the 'claw' marks on the front breatplate, adds to the worn down appeal of it all
Darth InSidious
I agree - a great improvement - very good
Inyri
Much improved! Still... that armor must have been lost in the depths of Manaan to be that rusty . I hope that the armor reflects a reduction in movement, as if you actually put that armor on you probably wouldn't be able to move your joints... at all...
