milo
It is very, very vong that they put that refrence in KotOR! Blegh. That was just awful. Anyway, I'm with Jae on this one. It's probably something they just threw in there for us to wonder about.

Cygnus Q'ol
Must not have been that big of a deal since no more references were forthcomming from Canderous. It could just have been a random story. Maybe it was V---ger.

RC-1162
I beg your pardon?
RedHawke
Species 8472, introduced on ST: Voyager, has advanced Bio-Technology, they used living ships and pwnd the Borg. Though it should be noted that Species 8472 are a fairly blatant ripoff of the Vorlons from B5. I heard that the Yuzhan Wrong used 'living' ships as well, hence The Doctor's response. RC-1162
ah, ok. thanks, RH. i don't like Trek, so i dunno much about it. and just a simply FYI to all: it seens just referring to the Yuuzhan Vong as "Vong" implies sacrilege. so we should call them only as "vong" from now on
lord ignarn
Surely some obsidian designer was writing the dialog and suddenly didn´t know how to end Canderous´s story, so he/she choosed to give it a really weird end. As I see it thats a logic solution to the riddle, or not??
Char Ell
^^^ I don't think that is a likely scenario. There was no need to have the story to begin with. BioWare could have come up with something completely different with very little effort. Also, Canderous' story had no real connection to the main KotOR storyline. This again emphasizes the fact that the story wasn't critical to the main KotOR storyline. I think the real question is will this story have any influence/effect on future KotOR games? jonathan7
im going to get chewed for even suggesting this and on the off chance im actually right i will commit suicide as i dont want K3 to have the vong in it.... but what if the vong are the true sith revan has gone to fight :s anyways as to what this ship that canderous saw, i think that there is clearly only one logical answer.... the nanobots in red dwarf, built a device that could dimension hop and the ended up in the star wars galaxy, and decided to disguise themselves as an asteroid.... its the only logical answer
Char Ell
^^^ Uhh... yeah. That's really, really stretching. I don't see how or why the next KotOR would incorporate the Yuuzhan Vong as the True Sith. Wouldn't make sense at all.
RC-1162
if the next KotOR has vong, i have no doubt that 99% of the forumites here with boycott the game.
Vaelastraz
It could be anything. There is no fact on that. Some people say it is the True Sith. Hm, i wonder if the developers of Kotor I really had the True Sith in their mind when writing the dialogue? Considering, that Obsidian introduced the lame idea of the True Sith, and not Bioware? I personally believe, it is just Canderous imagination gone wild
