DarthOxyClean
Meh. Any of the Darths would squash the X-Men flat before they'd have a chance to say "What the f...?" Well, Vader would have some trouble, due to his lack of agility and flexibility. Wolverine (assuming that lightsabers can't break adamantium) could just parry Vaders attacks and stab Vader's control panel thingie on his chest. Bye bye Vader!! But yeah, the rest would have no problem.
igyman
I think Phoenix, Xavier and Storm are the most dangerous. Storm can simply fly as high as she wants and summon all kinds of weather disasters against the Jedi and since she's high up in the air, no Jedi can reach her, with or without a saber. Phoenix, well, we've already established how dangerous she is, no Jedi can survive that encounter. Xavier has a lot more mind power than the Jedi. No matter how strong their willpower is, Xavier could easily make them all think they're chimps, or something.
REDJOHNNYMIKE
@Peff, Palpatine destroyed the jedi BEFORE his attack was used on him by Mace (which he let happen to trick Anakin) that was what weakened him, thus a full strength palatine does exist for use in the debate. If you can include equipment such as cerebro (the title said xmen) then you can inlude EU, in which case Nihilus would destroy Xavier (and earth), but similar to Visas he would spare teh hawtness of Famke and they would go conquer galaxies and stuff. If Wolverine can be tranquilized, what's to stop vader from lifting him off his feet, choking him unconsious, and then using the force to twist his adamantium, rendering him incapable of combat? igyman
Only one problem: Phoenix is unstable and would desintegrate Nihilus in an instant as soon as she got a chance. What's EU?
REDJOHNNYMIKE
EU: Extended universe (KotOR, Games, Books, etc.) If the X-Men can have equipment not stated in the original rules, then the Jedi should be able to use EU. Only fair. She wouldn't have the chance if all of earth instantly died.
TSR
just a hint, as you are this argument is on a star wars forum, surely the replies are going to be a teensy weensy bit biased? force useres FTW!

TSR
he can heal wounds, he cant ressurect himself. at least, as far as my limited knowledge of xmen goes, i dont think he can. if he couldnt, thats a bit gay. in a non-literal way. cos that just wouldnt work. *rambles*

Mace MacLeod
Oh come ON! Any self-respecting Sith Lord would eat the X-Men for breakfast and pass them before lunch. Beast, Rogue, Iceman, Pyro, Gambit, Storm, Dr. X, Mystique, Toad, Sabretooth, Cyclops, Juggernaut, Angel (though my daughter would hate me for saying this): lightsaber through the torso--buh-bye. Wolverine--Force Crush. If the adamantium is warped, how much would it hurt if his bones and flesh try to regenerate around warped metal? Owwwwww!!! Magneto--Force Storm. Later, dude. Collosus--Mind Trick--jumps over bridge. See ya. Jean Grey--Well, she's dead after X3 anyway.

DarthOxyClean
Have you seen X-Men 2? There's a scene in which Wolverine is takes a bullet to the head, but after a minute, or two he resurrects. So what you do is destroy the planet with a Death Star or Sun Crusher. Benifits: Simple Quick (.7 seconds) Easy (Just a push of the button) Clean (You only have an asteriod field left over, and no blood!!!) Efficient (Okay, so we lose a couple of species, big deal. And a loss of a planet here and there isn't going to hurt us in the long run. And don't worry about the loss of Jedi; they were wiped out before; they came back, didn't they?) Peff
A Jedi without lighstaber is a kinda mutant isn't he ? Green fight so.. The Hulk vs Yoda.. Force storm is almost like.. Nothing for Hulk isn't it so id think Hulk would win. Not with ease cous Yoda would dogde many of his attacks. And I think Yoda would escape if they were outside and die if they were in an arena. DarthOxyClean
A Jedi without lighstaber is a kinda mutant isn't he ? The correct term for a Jedi without a lightsaber is "Screwed" Green fight so.. The Hulk vs Yoda.. Force storm is almost like.. Nothing for Hulk isn't it so id think Hulk would win. Not with ease cous Yoda would dogde many of his attacks Hulk isn't X-Men. He is Hulk. Just Hulk. DarthSion101
lol.......Jedi without a lightsaber is screwed....great quote, and completely true. But I say give them their vaunted sabers and force powers, and none of them are a match for my lord Apocalypse. Even the great Sion could not stand against the might of En sabah Nur (Apocalypse's real name).
The Source
the only thing that can stop a lightsaber blade is cortosis, and i don't theres plently of that lying around on this chewed-up planet, so one swipe and wolverine's head goes off. you don't need a lightsaber to deal out damage if you're a Jedi. Force Crush on magnet-head, nuff said. nightcrawler could be stasised and a$$-whupped by any padawan jedi. rogue takes time to remove her gloves. lightsaber through her abs before she knows who hit her Jean Grey vs Qui Gon in a force-vs-telekenesis-battle. Qui Gon would pwn! Yoda vs Prof X in another force-vs-telekenesis battle. yoda pwns. so all in all, JEDI PWN X-MEN Cortosis & Yasamari They both can stop a blade. RC-1162
Have you seen X-Men 2? There's a scene in which Wolverine is takes a bullet to the head, but after a minute, or two he resurrects. Obviously, the bullet did'nt penetrate his skull. Even his head contains adamantium, so the bullet just cut his skin, knocked him unconscious with the concussion blow, then bounced off. Vader, on the other hand, will squish Wolverine's brain without opening his skull. Clean, non-toxic, and just another day at work for the Dark Lord of the Sith EDIT: @ MacLoed: do you mean ysalamiri? if so, you're wrong. Ysalamiri blocks the Jedi or Sith's ability to use the Force, not a lightsaber.
igyman
I have just one question for those of you who say ''only cortosis can stop a lightsaber'' - what metal are vibroblades made of? (They too can stop lightsaber attacks and we know they aren't made from cortosis )
TSR
they have a cortosis weave in them :| see KOTOR 1- endar spire. that guy you start off with tells you.
Jeremia Skywalk
We all seem to forget that there is nothing impossible with the force. My point is, that an EXTREMELY skilled jedi could easily defeat any of the x-men. Jedi can obtain any natural x-men power (That skeleton thing of wolverine aint natural), so theoreticaly the perfect jedi would defeat the perfect x-men, but... i dont know... jedi seem to be capable of killing x-men somehow, i don't know why. Oh and by the way any sith can screw up wolverines mind so bad that he is no threat to speak about. (jedi can control his mind or whatnot. Edit: If it were something like wizards of lord of the rings (those like Gandalf) I would take a second thought. They are supposed to be something like divine beings... but x-men? nah
