Anyone have see something like this for real?

Actually, I went there a year or two ago. It was pretty cool, and better than this year's (in my opinion anyway). They had a sand ziggurat and a 'When Hell freezes over' thing, a bunch of gremlins having snowball fights. And then the family and I went there this year's Father's Day.

@Bob: It's beside a pond. Well, they say it's a lake, but it looks like a pond to me. ;)

Yeah it's awesome.

Edit: Nice find coupes.

Oh yeah. Harrison's got an annual sandcastle-building competition. My second cousin is one of the managers at a Harrison hotel, and I usually tried to make it every year. Word of warning: hotspring baths are not recommended if your blood alcohol level is over .15. It's an experience you'll be unhappy to almost-kind-of remember.

Where I live they make sand sculptures right in the middle of our local mall!! If you go early enough you can watch how they do it, the secret is to mix Elmers Glue in with the sand and the water. It helps the sand stick together. It is a truely amazing talent.

God that is so sweet. One of the finest works of art in the world, I'll say. This is beautiful and awesome.

Everytime I try to make something, it just breaks down into an ugly mountain.
