St. Jimmy
Apparently He's huge over in America (people over here find him kind of annoying) But anyway If you guys don't already know, Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter) Died today at the age of 44 (or maybe 45) I don't really have the details but I'll post them when I get them. All I know is that it was 'A diving accident' (or something) and he was stung (right in front of the heart) by a sting-ray. A freak accident. Despite the level of annoyance he brought Australians he was a cool guy and he as dedicated to helping wildlife and dedicated to his family. A very Noble person. He'll be missed. Poopdogjr
I was just watching CNN and I saw some old interview with him. I thought it was just some re-run or something. I didn't know this had happened. That sucks. He seemed like a really great guy. He was really energetic, and might have come off as a bit weird at times because of it. I can't fault the guy for that, he was enjoying himself. He just genuinely loved animals. I know he had a daughter and a wife too. Poor guy. At least he was doing what he loved, maybe they can find some solace in that.

Thrik
It happened today so I'd hardly call it old news. But yes, it's definitely a sad way to go. I'm sure he would have wanted to die no other way though. Or at least he'd rather he killed by the animals he loves so much than a tumor in the head or something. :~
Psychochaos3
What a way to go. He's been handling crocs all his life and he loses his life to a small stingray. At least he died doing what he loved. RIP Steve. RIP

St. Jimmy
Jimmy, I didn't know you were an aussie. Yep. I used to live in South Australia but ten I moved to rural New South Wales. I have been up to the region where Steve lived but I've never been to the Australia zoo. One day though.
