Pfft 1984. 1985 is where it's at. Godzilla had one of his greatest movies ever, and I was born. Coincidince? I KNOW not. I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH. I vote 1985 as best year EVA.

I like having all sorts of new people here now. More people for me to taint with insanity and send out into the unsuspecting world, thus spreading like peanut butter on a sandwich. Without jelly. I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH. Jelly sucks.

If there is, they haven't told me. Of course, some messages don't make it to me in Hotel Asylum.... :D

@Davinq--bonus points if you can name the movie that my pithy reply to Devon is from.

I refuse to speak Devon's commie Newspeak. :xp:

Psh, I'm not much of a movie buff, but I'll hazard a guess at the obscenity-replete Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Top Gun.

The sequence is in the "Favorite quotes" section (I'll be insane enough to give you the advisory that some of the language is not PG-13 :xp: ) towards the bottom, the one that starts with:

Charlie: So, Lieutenant, where exactly were you?....

It's a 20 year old movie now, but some of the lines in it are hilarious and the flight scenes are very cool.

I watched some of that movie... kinda weird, they're in a training mission or something and the ejector seat kinda goes bad and crushes this one guy's skull. Blech.

lol, we were watching The Alamo in Social Studies, but I was kinda paying not too much attention because I just got to the part in 1984 where Winston and Julia do it in that field. But there was this part where they showed Jim Bowie dead on his bed. He was all covered in blood and the walls were bloody and you could see his insides and there were a lot of dead Mexicans on the floor and there was blood and there were a bunch of dead mexicans in a tree and some got shot with a cannon full o' nails and it was SO AWESOME!

Beg your pardon?

And I want my footnote in your sig modified to ''Oh, so that's what your mom looks like eh?''

Mod's pet peeve: double posting. Sorry Jae. But Devon should see this. Because I'm no longer terrified of his mother.

Comrade Onasivich! Insisting upon oldspeak is a thoughtcrime, and from a Party member no less! I thought you were a goodthinking member of the miniluv! This is doublethinking!

You know you can calm down for a second. If I'd have known this would have happened, I'd have never gotten you started.
