IG-64
Some of you may remember me posting pictures of my family's 3 miniature dachshunds. Well, my sister's dachsund, Daphne, passed away today. This past week or two she (all of our dogs are female) got an infection in her mouth that got really bad and started to screw up her immune system. Eventually she just got weaker until today when my parents decided to take her down to the vet so they could put her to sleep. She was 10 years old. We've had her for a long time and she was a really good dog. She was pretty tough and lived through a lot, and she hung on long in the end. We were all pretty much expecting it, and I wasn't totally upset when she passed because I kinda had made peace with the fact beforehand. My sister's at her college right now, so she wasn't there, and she was kind of glad about that. I've been talking to her on AIM and she's doing pretty well despite. Well, anyways, R.I.P. Fish.Stapler
My dog that I've had since I was barely old enough to walk has about 1-2 months left to go here, so I understand what it's like . We got two new puppies to keep him company (it actually works o.o) and they're going to help us through the grieving process. Best of luck. Rogue15
sorry to hear that. had to put my favorite cat down last summer. she had something wrong with her ear that the vets kept wanting us to have a million tests done (all were experimenting), she lasted a few years and then the side of her mouth got infected or something and she stopped eating and got very skinny, and she was really suffering...was sad to have to put her down. Titanius Anglesmith
Sorry man. I know how you feel. I lost a dog a few years ago too, and he was only 5. He always had something wrong with him, whether it was ear infections, skin problems, or constant body aches. He eventually ended up with diabetes, so we really had no choice but to put him to sleep. My condolences.
