REDJOHNNYMIKE
If I like the demo(s) I will probably be buying halowars. Haven't played the other 2 wont be playin thisen one Then why did you post? I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul. Yes, you can mute other players. If you've got a TKer...well that's why god gave you plasma grenades. @REV7, Dude, you CAN edit your posts!
Prime
*slaps prime* Why would you even ask? Yes:D Just asking. I haven't played either. But most previews I saw mentioned that it would not top gears or war on the technical side. Popularity is another matter.
Commander Obi-Wan
I haven't yet played an Shooter-type of game yet, so far that I've liked better than Gears of War. Mind you, I haven't played Halo 3, so my opinion is obviously biased. But, I don't think it will be as fun as Gears of War is. I'll just have to see and find out once I can get my hands on a copy of Halo 3.

Rogue15
the best thing about halo 2&3 multiplayer that i have not seen in other games, is the ranking system and how it matches you with people of pretty much the same skill level.
Ghost Down
Not me. I find the Halo-series to be pretty overrated. They're just 'another' FPS game in my opinion. I agree with you Pho3nix! - Ghost Down
stoffe
I find the Halo-series to be pretty overrated. They're just 'another' FPS game in my opinion. Just another FPS game can still be a lot of fun to play. I play the first Halo game (PC version) occasionally when I want some adrenaline pumping action, and I still find the swamp level creepy even after having played it several times and knowing what's coming. If they made a PC version of Halo 3 that didn't require DirectX 10 I would buy it. Sure, the Halo series might not be gods gift to gamers as some make it out to be (but then again god doesn't seem to be in the habit of handing out gifts to gamers anyway...) Mav
Meh, imo FPS games belong on the PC, I've yet to find a game on a console that can match the speed and precision of the mouse and keyboard, and for me, graphics mean absolutely nothing. That being said, I've played bits and pieces of the previous Halos, but I likely wont be touching this one, I only know 1 person with a 360. I'm more so looking forward to MGS4, Army of Two, Assassin's Creed and maybe Haze for my PS3. Also I am definitely excited about CoD4 coming out, I'll pick that up for my PC. Cygnus Q'ol
They're just 'another' FPS game in my opinion. Quite true. It's not for everyone or those with slow thumb to eye coordination. But, for those of us who like FPS's, it's quite sweet. ...and for those of us who have delved into the Halo phenomena, it's truly awesome. Oh, and yes, it's better than Gears IMO. Hando
My Opinion: I thought Halo 2 was a lot better. Sure the graphics were better, but I don't care about graphics. I'd still play the first Quake if I figured out how to install it on Windows XP. I hated the storyline for Halo 3. It didn't match the story of 2. The game play was the same, with the addition of a few more weapons, and vehicles. The Scarab parts were a lot better than the second. Why did they get destroyed by having no one on board it in the second? But I am a huge fan of RPGS, more than anything. To me, Halo 3 felt rushed. The multiplayer is still great, but the ranks are just the average military. Just like Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Vegas, and all those others. The armor customization is cool, but I wish they would have put more effort into it. Most of it looks almost exactly the same, but with more yellow or black shading or something. And I do think Gears of War is a lot better.
JoeDoe 2.0
How odd, I assumed that Halo 2 was the worst game in the trilogy, almost everybody I know said that to me, too much double wielding IMO.
