K_Kinnison
I watched a bit of the Clone wars TV series. And i realized that it is geared towards a MUCH younger audience. Cheesy predicable plots, and over the top action. The Battle Droids are worse then Jar-Jar, with their cheesy comedic lines and slapstick.. it is as if the entire droid army is controlled by the Three stooges. Then it is kinda weird that all the clone trooper have different personalities, and haircuts.

edlib
Yesterday @ work: Also sucked... but wasn't quite up to the standard set by Tuesday of this week. Got through it, and thankfully, no giant, high-profile concert today. Or any concert today... Had John Mayer back in the afternoon yesterday, to do a clinic. That was a zoo... especially just getting him physically out of the building. Then we had to immediately turn over the stage to do the show that rehearsed on Tuesday night. (A bunch of high-profile women rockers.) Oh well... got through it. Gonna put in a short day and come home and rest tonight, though. I feel like crap... edlib
Slow day at work... thankfully. Walked a little after work. It was a nice day. Wish the sun didn't set so damn early these days. I'll have to just try to exercise before work now, I guess. Walk to work instead of home. But that means spending all day at work in the same sweaty clothes. That's kinda nasty... but maybe I'll try it today. I really don't have to be in until 2... and I'm up now. Was in bed and asleep before 9 pm. I was tired. Of course, that means I was wide awake again at 4 am. It's a good thing I'm only working until midnight tonight. The show today should be easy... hopefully. Good luck with the hot chick, 15... but remember: Pics,.. or it doesn't exist.
Rogue15
eh, well i'll get her myspace. thing is, my other friend was there when she gave us both her number and well, tbh he's probably gonna **** it up, as the only thing on his mind is getting laid. but eh i have a better chance w/her at the club cause she likes to dance, and well my friend doesn't dance. got bored the other day and registered on another one of those singles sites, got 2 girls 'interested' in me. not sure if it's a scam though, so i sent emails with my instant messenger screenname. would be cool if one of them contacts me. other than that.....gotta call the place where i may have my car taken for inspection. i hate calling people. edlib
If you are male, and you are past the age of 11 or 12, then you are in that age range... pretty much forever. But, seriously: I'm sorry to hear of your current travails, Keyan... I was hoping it would work out for at least one of us.
Keyan Farlander
I was really looking forward to this weekend, too. I am taking my mom to see one of our favorite pianists perform some of our favorite music tonight (Andras Schiff playing Beethoven's sonatas Nos. 22-26). Then tomorrow night one of my favorite boxers, Vitali Klitschko, comes back after a three and a half year layoff to whoop Sam Peter's ass. I know myself - I'm not going to enjoy any of it. I haven't even been able to get any work done today. ed - I guess my situation is still not completely hopeless, but I almost don't care anymore, because...have I mentioned?...I am JUST. SO. PISSED. OFF.

edlib
Yesterday at work: Easy... but a looooooooooong day. Everybody was really cool, but I never got a break all day. Didn't eat before the shift started. That was a mistake. I finally got breakfast around 8:30 at night. By that time my blood-sugar and metabolism were going absolutely haywire. Felt terrible before I ate... felt worse after. Heading out to a cookout today. Not sure how long I'll stick around... I'm still pretty exhausted, and I have another long shift tomorrow (although it's with that sexy Cape Verdian singer... so it shouldn't be too awfully bad... ) Don't have plans for the holiday off yet. The Dark Knight is playing around here in IMAX again. I might check it out if nothing else comes up.
Rogue15
my mistake was not eating before having too many drinks. 2.5 red deaths, some girls didnt want their crandberry and vodka so i drank that too. feeling it all right now. bleh. drunk called some girl that was over at my party, she thought it was funny... at least i don't have TOO bad of a hang over. i feel ok. hopefully at work i dont feel like throwing up. Rogue15
went to arby's for supper tonight, the drive-thru ****ed with me for the last ****ing time. First the damn speaker menu or the person on the thing wasn't paying attention, finally took my order, i got to the window and the order was FUBAR, i didn't want to pay $16.80 for 2 things i did not order...so they gave me what i ordered, (roast turkey and swiss market fresh sandwhich combo) at the right price. anyway. i get in the parking lot and realise i got the wrong drink (though they never asked what i wanted to drink at the drive thru menu section) which was a milkshake, and the sandwich was not cut in half, which irked me because that's the cool thing about Arby's, they cut their market fresh sandwiches in half, so i can store the 2nd half for later. nope! grrr. I called out the whole restaurant on arbys.com 'contact us' thing. from the ****ty service to the potholes in the parking lot to a bush blocking my view of an intersection. that's not the only time i've had bad service from there either. something must be done! cracken, since you were manager of a mcdonalds, do these email comment things ever work? K_Kinnison
I don't like Cranberry juice, but a lot of girls like it because their "Sex in the city" stars drink cosmopolitans. I have gotten to enjoy Manhattans myself. makes me feel like a mobster. I used to like James Bond Martini's but it is hard to enjoy a drink with so little flavor. I tried those E-mail customer service things with a local supermarket. it was so crappy because they want you to call their 1800 number for customer service, which begs to ask... why have the Email form? if i have to use a second method. Then the store itself has their "Comments" box be a plastic mailbox with a slot in it, and scraps of paper. SCRAPS! Down to 8 more days of work out of 29 straight. Then I will get 9 days off in a row. Curling season is also is starting next week. Plan for the 9 days off: Practice my curling Possible date with Neighbor girl Get a kitty Get a Massage See a Doctor (nothing serious, just check up) Go to DorkStock (hopefully get some nookie from the fine ladies there) Rest and relax
edlib
Had a good time at the cookout yesterday. Didn't know anybody there except for 2 people... but it wasn't too bad. Still really tired though. So much for having a restful, relaxing long holiday weekend. Oh well... I'll catch up on my rest when I'm dead.
edlib
Work was good. Easy day. I talked to the singer babe a bit. She shook my hand and introduced herself when she first came in. I told her I remembered her from last time, and how much I enjoyed the show. She smiled at me a couple of times during the rest of the day. Some nice eye contact. Kept thanking me for all my help all afternoon. It was a pleasant day at work. I wonder how I can get a spot working on tour with her... No... bad idea: Mixing business with the pursuit of pleasure. I'd have to quit my job.

edlib
you only live once, do it. Fun to think about... but not very realistic. The other thing we had fun with yesterday was that one of the guys I work with bought these sick Nerf guns and brought them to work... one a 20-round Gatling-gun type rapid fire, and the other a long-range sniper rifle with 2 clips. We kept finding ways into luring unsuspecting co-workers into situations where we could corner them and unleash a barrage of Nerf bolts at them... a fury of foam. Ahh... good times! There's apparently a whole web culture based around customising these toys into something totally out of control. That's a bit much for my tastes... but whatever. To each his geeky own, I guess... They are pretty fun... though you do end up misplacing rounds pretty damn quick.
