littleman794
What do you all think Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be rated? i think that it can not go above "T"....it goes against star wars standards...
Jvstice
I don't think they would publish a star wars property above teen. There are certain things people associate with a star wars name brand. Plenty of violence, sexuality only being suggestive at most.
TKA-001
I seriously doubt that it won't be teen. After all, there's no dismemberment whatsoever (and not even scorch marks when you saber people). Lucasarts seems kind of afraid to have games be as violent as the movies.
GeneralPloKoon
Since when has a Star Wars game not been rated teen anyways? Except for the learning and Lego games of course.
JoeDoe 2.0
Its gonna be rated Adult only- because of the scene where the Apprentice accidentally enters the bathroom and when Vader is giving Palpatine a sponge bath. Afterwards the apprentice becomes one with the Force for his mental trauma
homiJ15
well since lucasarts has already rated the game T for teen, i just hope they re-release it with an M rating because Hayden Blackman (homeboy who made the game) said it would probably have been rated M if they didnt have to tone down some of the stuff in it, ex. blowing up rancors from the inside out, dismemberment, blowing up stormtroopers with a very powerfull force push
TKA-001
How is dismemberment a warrant for an M rating? Isn't that the minimum requirement for anything involving a lightsaber?
GeneralPloKoon
indeed...
Da_man
How is dismemberment a warrant for an M rating? Isn't that the minimum requirement for anything involving a lightsaber? Dismeberment doesn't warrant an M-rating. Jedi outcast allows you dismember and cut off various body parts, albiet through a cheat code. It still had a T-rating. Qwerty Uiop
I would prefer M-rated with dismemberment over a T-rating without it. I doubt it would get much worse than the movies.
Da_man
THe movies weren't very bad compared to the games. There were only a few select times were the movies actually featured killing and/or dismeberment, and the majority of it was in EP3. ANd there was little to no blood except in the cantina scene in Ep4 and on Luke after his fight with Vader at Bespin in EP5.
Nedak
LA would never have the b**** to make it M
TKA-001
I think it's worth mentioning that Jedi Outcast's dismemberment was horribly executed.
littleman794
I hope it stays at T for Teen, because if it goes to M or higher my stoooopid parents might not let me get it.... also, the different system versions might have different ratings...like the Xbox 360/PS3 might be m, the wii/PSP might be teen, and the DS might be E-10+.... its all possible

Its been a long time since I've heard that, you got responsible parents Yeah, I think it will not warrant a higher rating than T- for teen
littleman794
Its been a long time since I've heard that, you got responsible parents hehe, NO! I AM TURNING 16 IN 5 MONTHS, THEY SHOULD TRUST ME TO BE MORE RESPONSIBLE....i mean, c'mon.... i understand that they wouldnt let me get an M or A game, but if it is a cool star wars game that i have been looking forward too forever, then they should bypass it once.... PoiuyWired
Well, I hope they leave saberrealisticcombat as a easily enabled option thru some simple hack of savefiles. That way they can publish it as T and yet everyone can go dice things up a bit still.
littleman794
yes, that is a good plan....now if only we knew what they actually plan on doing....then again, some things in life we will never know....until september:D
Qwerty Uiop
My parents only let me get the Orange Box. But I'd be allowed to get TFU because it's Star Wars, and Star Wars is not Grand Theft Auto.
Ctrl Alt Del
I would prefer M-rated with dismemberment over a T-rating without it. I doubt it would get much worse than the movies. I think everyone does. But I also think Han Sala's comment on the matter can answer this perfectly. littleman794
^well, let's all hope that's true..... if it goes M, star wars could possibly lose and gain some fans...and if it goes T star wars will most probably maintain it's fan rate... Pho3nix
I hope it stays at T for Teen, because if it goes to M or higher my stoooopid parents might not let me get it.... That's kind of weird, I'd understand if it was GTA we were talking about...but this is a Star Wars game. :3 I guess this only proves the point that most parents don't know anything about games and overreact when the media portrays violent ones in a negative way.
