Sithspecter
So we need somebody that really can mod as well as more modders: Quanon, SithSpecter, Doc Valantine ect. Now we DO have something to tempt you with: Canyon Workshops T-Shirts, Stickers and Mugs! As well as the warn feeling you get when you help. Look, if we (Quanon, Doc, and myself) wanted to join, we would have already. Pestering us about it won't help. Also, it sounds like you're trying to bribe us with that last one. And posting repeat threads is against the rules.
Robespierre
T-Shirts, Stickers and Mugs? I think that's going a little too far there. If I'm not mistaken, a certain guy in a certain mask is pretty much the only "True" sith left, and you kill him in TSL. No, the "True Sith" are still in the Unknown Regions, where the Exile and Revan go to try to find them (and defeat them), since they are the ultimate enemy of the Republic. Play the end of TSL and read what Kreia says, she explains everything there.

Quanon
A VETERAN MODDER! So we need somebody that really can mod as well as more modders: Quanon, SithSpecter, Doc Valantine ect. Me a veteran ?! I rather call myself a specialist, I don't have a grand number of mods released. I think GloveMaster can support me in my point I heavly depend on help of others in various things in modding Just so lazy Anyway, I must say I've lost my faith somewhat in "large" mod teams. I've been in some and it mostly boils down to 3 or 4 peeps doing all the work. So far I had the most fun just working with alone or just with somebody else, like SilverEdge, DI... or SK90, Princess Artemis. And mostly on smaller scaled things. Bwéh, I'm ranting here. So I'll keep my mouth shut.
DarthRevan243
Quanon, why don't you help make 1....just 1....new area? We just can't bear not having a new area!!!!! I swear, if you make it I'll buy you a Canyon Workshops Mug!

jonathan7
A VETEAN MODDER! Whats a VETEAN MODDER!!?? I don't think I've heard of one of those before? (Normally I don't go arround correct such things in posts, however if you feel the need to have a mis-spelt word is size 89 font I will) Me a veteran ?! You are a veteran my friend and a legend I rather call myself a specialist, I don't have a grand number of mods released. Your a veteran specialist Anyway, I must say I've lost my faith somewhat in "large" mod teams. I've been in some and it mostly boils down to 3 or 4 peeps doing all the work. So I'll keep my mouth shut. Wise council as ever DR243, most large mod teams during my time at Holowan have failed, infact TG is about the only one that has stood the test of time. I think it wisest to have a small team, who all know exactly what they are doing. I think it is also advisable to go for quality over quantity, having been part of TE, I know communication can be a big problem, and I think big mod projects that have been completed, have been done by 1 main person (think Inyri and Kay, and Silveredge and BoS), who are supplemented by skilled modders in specific areas for specific needed things. Look, if we (Quanon, Doc, and myself) wanted to join, we would have already. Pestering us about it won't help. Quanon, why don't you help make 1....just 1....new area? We just can't bear not having a new area!!!!! I swear, if you make it I'll buy you a Canyon Workshops Mug! DR243, I know that all 3 of the above are very busy with various projects of their own; all projects greatlly I look forward too, if they've said no.. let them be I'm sure they would be more than happy for someone to make the leap in area building and become the 4th lord of the third dimention. Mugs, T-shirts and stickers? How...TimFX. Hehe, hows is Tim these days? DR243, there are several helpful and interesting threads around LF offering advice about modding in teams here are two; http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=176261 http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=188182&highlight=teams Just my 2 cents, thanks for reading... But WERE they friends? We are good, honest freinds who ar dedicatd to modding! Unless you want to join then please dn't pot. All we've got is the same thing time and time again..... We don't want you! So i'll just go! It is WRONG to tell someone thei Team is going to fail! I don't want this. Leaving Lucas Forums for a VERY LONG TIME... jonathan7
So i'll just go! It is WRONG to tell someone thei Team is going to fail! I don't want this. Leaving Lucas Forums for a VERY LONG TIME... Don't be so dramatic, at any point did I tell you that you were going to fail? I merely directed you at helpful threads and offered my 2cents, which would consist of I think your taking on too much. But WERE they friends? We are good, honest freinds who ar dedicatd to modding! Unless you want to join then please dn't pot. All we've got is the same thing time and time again..... HL is composed of the best KotOR modders around, if you have got a consensus of opinion, I would advise taking there advice... If you choose to post something in a forums, you will get all sorts of replies, last time I checked the freedom to voice opinions was still allowed in the forums... I disagree with what you have to say, but will defend to the death your right to say it So some of us don't think you'll manage to do it, why not just proove us wrong? I'd be more than happy for you to do so.
HodgePodge
But even the force can't create flesh and blood. Bringing people to life yes - but creating people? That cant be done using the force. Actually, Darth Plagueis was able to create new life using the force. Many believe that this is how Anaking Skywalker was conceived. Quoted from Wookiepedia: ] Plagueis then began taking his research to its greatest extreme, to create new life from nothing. Eventually Plagueis told Sidious of an experiment to influence the midi-chlorians to draw life directly from the Force itself. The child that resulted, Plagueis insisted, would potentially possess astounding powers.[18]

Emperor Devon
But WERE they friends? We are good, honest freinds who ar dedicatd to modding! That they're friends doesn't mean they can always be relied upon. Yes, this likely does seem harsh of me to say (and it's an even harsher fact to face), but friendship isn't enough to overcome the technical barriers that no one has yet managed to. Or had the incentive to, as KotOR is a tedious (and far from the best) game to mod. Heck, that they're friends doesn't guarantee they can be relied on even if the above factors weren't an issue. They can grow disinterested or slack off like any other person can. I've had that happen before. It is WRONG to tell someone thei Team is going to fail! You're taking that out of context. You've been told by multiple people that because mod teams rarely manage to work out, you'd be better off handling smaller and individual projects. The advice was given in a constructive manner and with helpful intents. I don't want this. Then you shouldn't have started a public thread where people can voice their opinions. Perhaps PMs would work better in the future? Leaving Lucas Forums for a VERY LONG TIME... Well now, aren't you handling this nicely. Start a thread asking people who don't want to join your team to do just that, and say in a huff that you're leaving the forums when they (politely) turn you down again? All I can say is your antics won't cause you to be missed. But that's assuming you'll actually leave, which most of the people who say they will never wind up doing.
