M107 Heavy Sniper Rifle Beta

This is a model I am working on that is based on the Barrett M107 sniper rifle in Smokin' Aces. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Wow! :bow: kind of a sniper rifle ... no more melee combat weapons and feats for Mission after this, I'll keep her out of range firing this and she's done, awesome ... you'll need an automatic retraction system or something to avoid sticking into the ground hah :lol: just kidding.

In my game the master sniper shot feat does not show properly if I don't have the other feats previously achieved, it's just me or some of you have this issue too?

Now that you mention it, I've been trying to figure out how the internal animations work so that I can have the barrel do two things:

 

1) Extend when the rifle is in a horizontal position, and

2) Recoil during firing.

 

Is the Master Sniper Shot not working during combat, or on the level-up screen?

 

Edit: Definitely a worthwhile addition to Mission's arsenal

It appears as active if you click the feats screen but if you try to click on the icon it is blocated somehow (for reading I mean); anyway the feat is active I suppose? :confused:

 

By the way, that pink sniper for Mission is a little "visible" (plus her blue skin...) so I'd keep the original camo or basic version to keep her alive, a little heh :lol:

Well, that's got me stumped. It must be a function of bonus feat vs earned feat. As long as you get the combat Master Sniper icon, it should be active when the rifle is equipped.

 

I'll save the pink one for Luxa when I do the TSL version..........

Is it possible for a TSL version? Handmaiden or Mira would rock with this!

MdlOps Replacer could do it...

Once Varmint returns from whatever hole he crawled into, maybe he will convert ;)

 

I agree Mira and this rifle are destiny! ;)

Believe me, Mission would NOT be able to handle the recoil on this monster without getting a crushed collarbone. A .50-cal BMG round is a powerful sucker.

And, a beam of light capable of slicing through anything except another beam of light is possible ;)

 

Mira seems to have extensive experience with firearms, so she'd be OK.

The handmaiden could too. Shes like Mandalore; You can use her for Melee or Ranged. Besides, she's had Echani Training, so, she'll be resiliant to broken bones.
