Ah, I see, Exile. I didn't really read over that thread real well :p

 

Scripting Problems; Part One

I am currently looking through scripts, but I cannot find one for if you talked to that certain NPC before. (I want 1 node to play when I first meet him, but, I want another to play if I have talked to him the first time) I'm guessing that it is the c_local script?

 

Is there a script that'll give another NPC (not in party) a lightside bonus? As I plan to have a Jedi Knight being seduced to the Dark Side, you battle the Dark Jedi talking to him, and, then he gets a lightside bonus.

Yeah, I asked Q a while back and he said it was fine for me to use those textures. :)

 

Ok, just wanted to make sure.

Also, because you wouldn't give me the files, and I wanted to give the academy a new look, I got something a little closer to my vision, and I just wanted to see what people think:

(Note - I still have yet to figure out which texture are the arches and the columns.)

ATM, I am working on having the out side of the rings and doors resemble the walls a bit more. AKA, moar tan.

They're from Quanon's Taris texture pack.

 

For KotOR 1, and based on K1 textures.

 

Don't worry DI, I released that Pack to be used in other mods.

I got a TUCE thread somewhere deep burried in the past.

 

Marius and I had a chat, he can use them if he wants to.

I just want a line in the credits in the readme.

 

Certain textures are indeed just altered K1 textures, so they'll have to pay attention to NOT use these.

 

But most are made by me, so that shouldn't be a to big a problem.

I could beta test this mod for you if you like.

 

Also, I could write some dialogue scenes as well, if you don't have anyone on that.

If I need any more beta testers, I'll tell you. If you can make new dialogs, that'd be great.

 

 

The screens are really good I think, are we going to see Mustafar outside the academy or just the inside? Keep up the good work.

 

I plan on reskinning Dxun's outside to be a little less jungle appearance, and use that as the outside. There will be some sidequest that'll take place outside.

Update!

I didn't like the doors. So, I replaced them. Based off of one of Xarwarz's Nar Shaddaa doors, and one of Quanon's textures (the one I used for the walls) I have made:

I forgot that the doors were symmetrical, and, unless theres a large demand for it, I won't be changing it. It drove me to the edge of insanity (and, it didn't help that I was almost there in the first place :lol:)

 

 

Anyways, a new addition to the team, Revan 411 will be doing some dialog. He'll be adding the new dialog to Zez Kai Ell, and some dialog to the Jedi Guards (you can see the tag of one of them in the above picture.

Very impressive reskinning.

I am curious, by training do you mean you will learn force powers, similar to learning powers in the Coruscant Temple mod? Or will training consist of something else entirely?

 

I plan on making a new force power, but, if I find that too hard, I think I'll just skip Force Powers entirely and stick with Lightsaber training. Also, I hope to have a convo with Kima (the master) that is like all the other masters. Getting a force form/lightsaber stance. This does mean that this mod won't be compatible with M4-78 or any other mod that teaches you a new form or stance, I'm afraid :(

Ekkkkkk!!! Say it isn't so! :( Well I suppose sacrifices must be made. Hmmm... could you possibly make it you can chose to learn the new form/stance or not. Possibly make it if you already have the new extra form from say, M4-78, you can't learn this one?

Well, I could make it so that Kima doesn't teach you anything, but rather goes to the council.

 

But, I will need someone to decompile the edited OnEnter script that M4-78 uses on Dantooine so that we can maximize compatibility. Reason being that DeNCS hates me, and won't decomple a single script...

 

Anyways, I tested out Istorian's power. Basically a glorified Lightning with a new icon. That, and it stops enemies in their tracks...

Yes, I got it. And I made some changes. I am no where near done mutilating editing your dialog. ;)

Hmmm... instead of being taught a form maybe one of the powers you learn could be from her? I mean I have no idea your plans for how the powers are going to be learned but that's a possible way for her to teach you something.

 

If I could help decompile the script I would definitely help you, sadly I'm still learning to mod... again. >_> I haven't done anything in two years if not more. >_< Though for my programming class' final project I'm going to do a mini quest mod so hopefully I'll get the hang of things again.

I have all the source scripts for M4-78 on Dantoine stuff. As their based off K2RP scripts, but keep in mind those scripts won't work with TSLRP and Stoney might even remove Vash from Dantoine. Plus their are still major differences between my 650jedi.dlg, the M4-78 one , and the TSLRP version.

Well then, I'd probably need your dialog, and I would probably release a TSLRP compatible mod later on after its done.

 

Anyways, after looking at force power scripts, I've finally got a force power to work :^:

Keep in mind, I only used this as a test, and I plan on doing some more to it, but, this is what it does:
