darth-me
VERY good, as usual . I personally think that your tatooine desert is very good (not that my opinion matters much), and that you shouldn't change it too much.] Also, which armour are you going to replace with that sith armour model? Or is it going to be a disguise, or...?
TriggerGod
Thanks all. Also, which armour are you going to replace with that sith armour model? Or is it going to be a disguise, or...? I'm going to try to make it compatible with both games, but I know that in TSL, I'm going to use the unused dancer model.
Marius Fett
The Sith Lieutenant one looks kinda cartoony. Nice work.
darth-me
Will any ingame sith have these new appearances? Keep up the good work, my next playthrough can definately wait until I've got all of the mods in this thread (well, most of them)
TriggerGod
Will any ingame sith have these new appearances? Keep up the good work, my next playthrough can definately wait until I've got all of the mods in this thread (well, most of them) well the ingame sith that have the standard appearance will have the new edited textures (all it is is a good resize to twice its original size, and an edit of the alpha channel). I thought about replacing the Sith Assassins on the Harbinger with the Recon troops and have at least one drop the Recon armor. I'm either going to have that happen, or mix the Recon troops within the Sith Assassins, and putting some black ops into either the Onderon Palace or the Dxun Temple. darth-me
cool, thanks. Sorry about this, but I have yet another question . I just had a look through all your old mods (I do that occasionally, they're all so good), and I was wondering if you are still working on / considering working on / have finished your longer hair for PFHC05? TriggerGod
Well, I have a few updates to share. I modeled my first hilt in ages. I guess my reskinning has taken up a lot of my time Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) It is supposed to be a generic sith lightsaber. My plan is to have the lightsaber wielding Sith carry this hilt, and at least one of the corpses will have the hilt, waiting for you to pick it up. And now, to show some updated Luxa skins. Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) The difference, aside from the less 'blotchy' skin that was on the body texture in the first release is that now, if you happen to view my gigantic textures in photoshop/gimp at 100%, it won't be as blurry as it was in the first release. Canderis
Thats one sweet hilt trig! Luxa looks nice, my screen is dark so I cant see all the detail but the arms on luxa could use some work. Good job!
Demongo
Wow I can imagine how "fast" your Photoshop is with these skins. You made Luxa look like 3x better:D
TriggerGod
Wow I can imagine how "fast" your Photoshop is with these skins. You made Luxa look like 3x better:D Actually, when I work with large works (larger than any known big screen monitor), my Photoshop gets real laggy. Its really a miracle that I'm able to save them. TriggerGod
Its been a while, eh guys? Anyways, my newest mod in progress while I'm working on bigger mods is an expansion upon Marius' Wearable Atris mod he recently released. (with proper permissions) All I'm doing is making reskins. Here is what I have so far: Fallen Jedi Robes: Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Jedi Historian Robes: Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) 'Improved' Jocasta Nu Robes: Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Sith Historian Robes Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Sith Lady Robes Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Finally, I've started to breath some life into my Mustafar WIP. I have a real outline now, and I'll be posting about it later.
Achilles
Slight nit-pick on the first two: boots should probably match the gloves. *knows how to accessorize*
Quanon
I like the white&Black robes the most. Somehow the yellow is to bright, well it reminds me of my countrys flag really Just need a rich bright red!
Marius Fett
I agree with Q here, the yellow is way too bright. If you look at Jocasta: They're not even yellow, there a yellowish brown colour. With the black part of her robes too, there's too much contrast there, especially at the bottom of the robes, it looks a little grey. I may just be biased towards my own Jocasta skin, though. redrob41
yeah, I agree, the yellow is far too saturated. Jocasta's robe colour seems much more neutral and understated (like she's saying "shh" with her clothes ). I also saw that at the neckline, you've got the undermost shirt as yellow, and it should probably be black. If you really wanted to make this the 'ultimate' Jocasta Nu robe, you'd even put in the bottom edge of the yellow under tunic, so that it covers the black skirt just below the belt line. As for the black levels, I think you've got a good balance of highlights and shadows. It really adds to the three dimensionality of the cloth folds when you've got some contrast like you do. On another note, I was thinking that the "historian" design pattern on the tabard gets a little repetitive after a few robes. Would you be able to replace it with a new or different (like Asajj Ventress) pattern? At least for your Sith Lady robe?
TriggerGod
Slight nit-pick on the first two: boots should probably match the gloves. *knows how to accessorize* So white gloves with the white boots? ATM, the gloves (along with most of the textures) are just a estimate on what the skins will look like in the final. The gloves are really a placeholder ATM. I like the white&Black robes the most. Somehow the yellow is to bright, well it reminds me of my countrys flag really Just need a rich bright red! I'll be toning down the yellow down, especially for the Jocasta robes. My idea for the Historian robes would be golden, more similar to Tionne Solusar's robes. I'll be toning it down a tad, but the look of Jocasta's robes will drastically change, I agree with Q here, the yellow is way too bright. If you look at Jocasta: They're not even yellow, there a yellowish brown colour. With the black part of her robes too, there's too much contrast there, especially at the bottom of the robes, it looks a little grey. If you really wanted to make this the 'ultimate' Jocasta Nu robe, you'd even put in the bottom edge of the yellow under tunic, so that it covers the black skirt just below the belt line. Yeah, I will be making some changes to the skins. And I tried to add the yellow part of the skirt above the black skirt. Didn't work out too well (Drop shadows don't exactly work well when the shadow is cast on a black surface... ) so I decided to work on that at a later date. As for the black levels, I think you've got a good balance of highlights and shadows. It really adds to the three dimensionality of the cloth folds when you've got some contrast like you do. Bloom effects and contrast make a lot of difference, especially with the hair and cloth. Basically everything except for the already bright textures (Skin, light metal) looks good with the bloom+auto contrast. On another note, I was thinking that the "historian" design pattern on the tabard gets a little repetitive after a few robes. Would you be able to replace it with a new or different (like Asajj Ventress) pattern? At least for your Sith Lady robe? I'll be seeing to making some changes to the design. I'll definitely see about using Asajj's pattern in one of the robes, (I might use it in the Sith Lady robe, or I might use it in another robe) and I'll see about using the design from the cut Darth Atris body texture. Thanks everyone for the crits.
TriggerGod
Well, heres a double post... since its my WIP it should be ok... :¬: For an update it is A-OK, for an "are we there yet?" or spam post we will crump you good! -RH Here are some revised robes. I still might work on those layered skirts for Jocasta's robes, but for now, I'm not, for reasons I listed in the above post. Using Achilles' suggestion, I re-did the robes with white boots so that they now have white gloves. I also toned down the brightness on the yellow parts. Not so much that they lose the detail I wanted on there, but just enough so that you don't have to wear sunglasses while wearing those robes. Revised Jedi Historian robes Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Revised Sith Historian Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Revised "Improved" Jocasta Nu's robes. Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) And now, for some new robes that I finished today. Jedi Healer robes: Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Sith Alchemist robes: Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) There are still some spots I have to fix on the new robes. (like the top/bottom of the belt-thing, and a little seam issue on the shoulder part) I may also add some spots. (like a trim on the sleeves/skirt) I'm not sure how many more robes I'm going to have. Not counting the Jocasta robe (which will be offered as an optional robe, if you wanted to use Marius's or mine. Your ego won't be completely crushed by release, DDD. ), I currently have 7 new robes.
