(I really just felt the need to throw that line in. It's in all six films, and it'll be in all Parts of this Series, even if I have to edit it in!)

As the three of them made it out of the ruins, Andorra quickly spotted Kalla and called out to her. "Kalla!" She shouted out across the clearing. Kalla heard, and after activating her lightsaber, started to make her way to her, cutting down any Hordesmen in her way. Komad also activated his lightsabers and linked them together, allowing him greater speed in hewing their foe.

Durrel looked at the group approching him.

Do we fall back or what?

Durrel hated retreat, but they couldn't take this pounding for any longer, at least not without heavy casualties.

He nodded,"We should retreat back to your Enclave. But we will be unable to outrun the hordes. Hence, my Mandalorian contingent and I will lead a charge in order to cover your retreat. We will commence in 5 minutes, move fast, we may be right behind you afterward. Good luck and Su'cuy gar."

Durrel began sending rallying signals to his troops, who quickly joined him at his position. They needed to stop the Horde from overtaking the rest, Durrel sincerely hoped that this charge wouldn't be his last.

Garrick hit the stairs hard, but he ignored it and stood up quickly, he stopped and stared at the women.

"You and the others go first, I will follow and cover the exit until then. Move fast, we will have little time."

Garrick ripped a spear from a dead Hordesmen's hands and began moving towards the screaming creatures that charged up the stairs.

Wrath wondered how long he could keep this game up for. It was a nice source of entertainment but it was getting old. He really either had to get this master now or to leave and capture that girl instead.

"I do work alone on missions that require extra care, however I do not have the governor with me. So what do you plan to do now jedi?"

"As I suspected. Lies, deceit are your ways. Still I want the governor and you would do well to bring her to me," Greea replied forcefully.

Tiye replied, "Please, none of this Mandalorian martyr bantha poodoo. Just go." As she said it, there was a loud explosion and the unmistakable sound of rock crumbling down. "Go! There's no time!" and with all the strength she could muster, she yanked the Mandalorian and flung him off the edge as she jumped onto the mountainside. There were handholds but it was hard on the fingers as she gripped the edges. She looked around and said, "Well that was fun."

**********

Tulre had joined Tonatius and the Mandalorian by this time. He said, "None of that self sacrifice. All or none especially out here."

Tonatius noticed his cousin running to Kalla, unheeding of the fact that she was just making the hordesmen angry. Channeling what he could, he took a running leap and with a downward thrust, he pounded the ground with a punch. The hordemen were knocked off their feet and disoriented enough now to worry about the collapsing building.

Andros was the last to emerge after Komad and sent his usual powerful Force Wave, sending hordesmen flying. He said, "Don't worry about them, we have to get as far away as possible. Get out. Make your way back to the enclave."

Tonatius nodded and tugged on his cousin's arm to pull her into a run. Tulre followed feeling slight anxiety at the separation of hsi twin but he knew that she would find a way out. He pushed the Mandalorians to run faster as he heard the explosions booming. Suddenly there was even a larger one that lifted him and everyone else off their feet and felt the sonic pulse from the final explosion. He hit the dirt hard and saw black.

*********

Karaka was distracted and Jun-la managed to send a Force wave to knock him away. He growled but when the first explosions ripped through he left warning her that they would meet again. She was about ready to collapse when Matton appeared out of nowhere. He said, "Come on princess we got to get out of here."

That woke her up enough to shrug him off and start running towards the river. They met up with Ken-Lui and Li-Shang and headed towards the river. They passed some external generators that were over heating. They were going to explode if they didn't get out. Jun-la put an extra sprint into her tired muscles and in response the others followed. She leped and doved headfirt into the river just as the generator exploded and fire swirled outward.

She surfaced and gasped for air as she looked at the smoldend slag. She noticed that the current was strong and shouted, "Hold on everybody." She grabbed Matton's arm and one of the others and prayed that they would hit smoother water soon.

Garrick once again found himself being flung around. This time was probably less pleasant than last, but it was a bit exhilarating.

He had hit a rock on the mountainside, and his wrist was bent in a direction it was not meant to be bent, but besides that, just a few bruises and wounded pride.

He stood up and grabbed his wrist, immediately trying to spot his Mandalorian comrades.

They seemed to be stuck in a mass of combat down below, but Garrick spied a few of his men, they were retreating, he'd see them again.

Garrick squeezed his wrist hard, and then he let go of it, trying to move casually with the wound.

He looked at the woman who gad grabbed onto some of the handholds nearby.

"Heh, that was fun indeed. Martyrdom my sheb."

Garrick began moving towards higher ground.

Durrel sprinted as fast as he could, the unit of soldiers moving as one, giving eachother the will to go faster.

Then he saw the Jedi called 'Tulre' trip and hit the ground, probably out cold.

Durrel moved fast, and used his momentum to grab the Jedi's collar, lifting him up.

Then Lieutenant Krek helped by grabbing the Jedi's arm and they kept moving at a fast speed, ignoring all obstacles.

Durrel equipped his flamethrower and aimed it at a nearby tree. He quickly set it on fire, and the rest of the Mandalorians followed que, burning everything behind them. This was a tactic that was common with retreat.

Scorched Earth.

((That was Tulre and everyone would have felt the sonic boom ;) ))

Tiye grinned and noticed that the Mandalorian was favoring his wrist. She said, "Hold on where you are. I have a feeling the building isn't finsihed yet." As soon as she said it, she felt the resounding sonic wave. Quickly she grabbed her short sword and forcefully jabbed it into the rock. It stuck while she managed to get out a length of rope. "Hold on to this until the shaking stops."

((Oh, sorry about that, I will edit...:D))

Garrick grabbed the bit of rope offered right in time to recieve the blunt of the shockwave. He was thrown against the side of the rock wall, losing his grip on the rope.

He quickly grabbed it with his left wrist, the one that was broken.

Garrick gasped aloud as he hung onto it, but he managed to keep his head during the painful period of time.

He then quickly switched hands and grabbed the rope with his good arm, letting out a breath of relief.

Shortly after hauling Tulre back up, the shock wave caught up with the Mandalorians.

And Durrel instantly regretted choosing the trees for cover.

The sheer force of the wave that had knocked Tulre down, pushed the Mandalorian captain straight into a thick tree, making a small imprint.

His men were luckier, hitting softer areas of the forest, Durrel also had his wind knocked out.

He slid slowly down the tree as the rest of the explosions went off.

Kalla quickly managed to get to Andorra as they fled the ruin. "Another reason I prefer the lightsaber." She commented after seeing the blood all over Andorra's dress. "I can change into something a little more practical later." Andorra replied, chuckling slightly. "You can talk about it later, but for now, RUN!" Komad shouted to them, using the Force to enhance his speed.

Tonatius replied, "A weapon is a weapon. It knows what it is built for even if its wielder has different intentions." He nodded to Komad and couldn't have agreed more with the running. He had felt the rumbles in through the soles of his boots and wasted no time in hauling his cousin to follow. Time for discussion later.

Andros was the last to emerge and took one last look as if to sense something and turned and followed. Subtly using the Force, he pushed everyone as if it were a strong wind that could blow a person. They had to put as much distance as they possibly could. He only could pray that Tiye got the others out.

Jun-la struggled to keeep to the surface as the river carried them downstream narrowly missing boulders. She realized that they would have to grab on to something and pull themselves out or they would drown. She began to struggle to shore.

Matton noticed what she was doing and followed suit along with Ken-Lui and Li-Shang. He managed to grab an overhead branch firmly lodged and pull himself up. He gave a hand to Ken-Lui and Li-Shang.

Jun-la couldn't grab it but she wassn't done yet. Grabbing her zip line cable she took aim and fired it off. It wrapped itself around the branch and she grabbed the line. The force of the river pulled her hard but she managed to pull herself in despite the pain in her hands. As soon as she pulled herself to shore, she flopped down on the gravel next to Matton just as the explosion sounded.

(that was more a joking reference to how a lightsaber cauterises the wound and a sword does not, than Kalla seriously saying a lightsaber is better)

Back at the Enclave, Kalla had taken Andorra to find something else to wear, while the others were discussing the situation. "As important as is may have been to go to that ruin, we are still no closer to rescuing the governor nor eliminating the New Imperial threat in this region." Komad commented.

"Your dress was nice and all, but it really couldn't withstand much fighting. This is probably better for that. Less restrictive, and you look good in it." Kalla commented, after Andorra had changed into a brown tank top and baggy pants, and replaced her blue slippers with black sandals. "I'm glad you like it." Andorra replied. "Then again, you'd look good in anything." Kalla flirtatiously responded, to which Andorra blushed slightly.

Durrel stood in front of the line of Mandalorian warriors assembled in front of him.

"Status report! Any casualties?!"

The soldiers snapped to attention, and the Sergeant at the end of the line announced,"No casualties, sir, only minor wounds!"

Durrel smiled and paced slowly down the line.

Suddenly, Kajumo ran from one of the nearby positions to Durrel.

"Captain, scouts report that Imperial landing craft have made it to the surface. They will arrive here in possibly in two hours if they navigate the terrain properly."

Durrel nodded,"Thank you for the report. We will prepare ourselves. Also, where is Garrick?"

Kajumo shook his head, "I don't know, Captain. He will reveal himself in the proper time."

(@CQ: The Sith aren't as openly in control of the New Galactic Empire as they were with the Risen Sith Empire in the first three RP's. It would make more sense for the Mandalorians to call them Imperial or New Imperial ships)

"On the topic of the governor, your daughter did have an idea. The Governor's kidnapper left behind a small portable transmitter, which Andorra was expected to use to send as much strategic data about this system as possible back to New Imperial Space. Kalla suggested that if we were to send them false data, and triangulate the signal, we'd be able to determine which planet the New Empire is keeping her on, and rescue her." Reyvan suggested, though he did not understand why Kalla would tell him this, but not her father.

Andros saw to his son Tulre and inquired about his daughter. She had not returned and it was troubling to him. It was even more troubling to not see Tiye. He saw everyone together aand he said, "We are all here save for what was separated. Before we make plans, wait for them."

**********

Tiye managed to pull the Mandalorian up the cliff and bent to examine the wirst. "Very lucky," she said, "Small break. Will heal." She gave a wry grin to the Mandalorian. She then stood to look at Katarina and Son-ja and said, "Well, we can get back to the enclave as soon as he's ready."

Son-ja nodded. "We will wait and watch."

Garrick nodded at the women's evaluation. He was surprised she had even taken the time to examine it after what Garrick had attempted to do back at Komad's bunker. He still wasn't quite sure how they saw him, enemy or ally. Hopefully, the ally.

"Thank you. I do not want to be a burden on the journey back. I'm ready whenever you and your comrades are. Lead the way."

Garrick stood, still favoring the wrist, but not so much anymore.

Andros was aware of Komad's intent but he had to make himself clear, "Fought an enemy today. One that is different from others. Must regroup." His choppy phrases were annoying he knew but his mind was preoccupied with what lies ahead.

*********

Jun-la was aware of the warm body next to her as she opened her eyes. She looked to see Matton apparently enjoying himself as he lay there in the sun with his eyes closed. She gave a wry grin as she rose on one elbow to look for Ken-Lui and Li-Shang. It was then she heard, "You know how make good things end."

She looked at Matton who had opened one eye and was looking at her. She replied, "When survival is your business you have to make good things end."

"Doesn't mean you can't enjoy them when they come." Matton then closed his eyes. "Besides, I'm a bit waterlogged from our swim."

"You would say that if it were a dip in a bathtub," Jun-la retorted as she began squeezing excess water out of her hair. She looked at her Jedi tunic and saw that it was hoplessy beyond repair. She would have to find something at the enclave when they got back.

"Saying that I smell?" Matton challenged.

"Not at all," Jun-la replied with a smile. Playing coy would be something new and it hid her feelings too. She finished squeezing her hair and then stretched to the full length of her body. She laid her head right on Matton's stomach and said, "Besides you might be right. Nothing like a little relaxation can ready the body for the next fight."

Matton raised his head to look at her suspiciously. She had never done this before and wondered where she was going at. Deciding she wasn't trying anything he replied, "My kind of mission," and placed his hands under his head.

As soon as he was comfortable, Jun0la said, "On the other hand, the others will be back at the enclave. We should move," and in a quick move, she was on her feet. She shed the over layer of her Jedi uniform and checked for her lightsaber and Sanglumina. She nodded at Ken-Lui and Li-Shang who had been scouting and began to lead the way. "We need to make it back to the enclave. That business with Karaka wasn't an accident."

Matton watched her move and realized he had been outplayed.

*********

Tiye nodded and reached into her pouch. She pulled out a root and placed it on a rock. she began to mash it, spitting on it until she made a thick paste. she thetore a strip from her tunic hem and rubbed the paste onto it. She then took the Mandalorian's wrist and said, "This will hurt but I have to set it." With a deft twist, she popped the broken bones back into place and tied the cloth with the paste on before the Mandalorian could utter a word. "Should take care of the pain til we return."

By then Son-ja and Latarina had returned from scouting. Son-ja said, "We found the forest trail. It leads east."

"That's the direction of the enclave. We should head that way," Tiye replied. She then beckoned for them to show the way.

"In any case, as soon as possible, we should leave, and make an attempt at rescuing the governor. I highly doubt the New Empire is treating her well." Reyvan pointed out.

"Except, we'll have to wait until we know where to go, and Greea's still on her way here." Komad replied.

"Maybe we should wait for Mom to get here as well to send the signal." Kalla suggested, to everyone's surprise, as they hadn't noticed her or Andorra enter the room. The look in both Kalla and Andorra's eyes suggested they were hiding something despite them being open about their relationship, and what they were hiding being something none of them would want to know about anyway.

(Cyborg Ninja has been gone for a while, and I have a feeling he's not coming back. How should we deal with that? And I'm just going to skip past the Blood King having Tyrannus and Virul fight to a scene of Virul continuing to torture the governor, since we seem to have forgotten about that)

Darth Virul struck Governor Leila again with Force Lightning. "Resist all you want, Governor, I will break you eventually." He said to her. "You will never make me betray Avalon." The governor replied, trying to maintain her resolve. "You misunderstand me. Once I break your will, I shall die and make you suffer a fate far worse than death." Virul explained.

Garrick didn't even have time to react as the women set his wrist.

She had mvoed so fast that he really didn't have time to completely feel the pain, for that he was thankful. He did feel it afterward though, but he controlled it with a short breathing exercise. He noticed the two other Avalonians, who must've been scouting ahead, and they announced that they had discovered a trail. Garrick nodded and followed the women, and a question came to his mind.

"Uh, excuse me and I hope you don't mind me asking, but I failed to catch your name?"

Garrick hoped that the women wouldn't take offence at the question.

Admiral Velerc stood seren aboard the bridge of his Super-Star Destroyer.

He then began to pace back and forth, watching the ensuing battle with the Mandalorians.

He then began to measure the odds, something that was unusual for the Grand Admiral.

He noticed that the enemies firing intervals had slowed.

"Lieutenant Berch, get the starboard battery firing faster, all power to ion cannons. PENETRATE THE SHIELDS!"

"Yes, Admiral Velerc, they will be done in moments." Said the Lieutenant in one of the command trenches.

The cannons roared nearly instanaeously.

Suddenly, the door at the end of the bridge opened, and two large, black-armored stormtroopers walked in.

Death Troopers...Thought Velerc.

He walked towards them.

"You too, why are you here."

The taller one spoke first,"We have come to do our superior's will. He wants Jedi. A group of them."

Velerc nodded,"Does your 'surperior' want the Jedi Komad and his band of misfits? I'm after them. They are my project."

The taller trooper spoke again," Our superior wants us to help, and he was not saying that you were incapable of handling the problem. He justs wants us to 'deliver' the targets."

Velerc nodded,"So be it. The invasion force is already planetside, they will wait for you to advance first. You take Komad then...and only then."

The tall stormtrooper cocked his head to his right,"We will only do what we believe is best, Grand Admiral Velerc."

The insult made Velerc's eye twitch and his mouth curl into a snarl,"Be quick. Don't waste my time, trooper."

The insult had equal effect on the two Death Troopers, who then left without another word.

Great. Now I have the scrutiny of another Sith...And with that, Velerc left to make a call on a certain dark lord....

"I am Son-ja," the tall blonde replied, "I am of the special defense forces of Miako."

"I am Katarina, adopted daughter of Tsung Khan, the one who now threatens your world." She then swished her long dark tail as she scouted ahead.

Tiye didn't apologize for their answers. As far as she was concerned, they could reply in any manner they want. They came here of their own volition to teach them and warn them. She said, "If you were looking for a more polite explanation you won't get it. They are from where the Explorers came from."

**********

A crackle of lightning occurred and Riyusaan appeared in the middle of the group. He said, "You should remain here. One of your warriors is tracking the one you seek. She will contact you when the time is right. Now you must prepare for the Blood King."

Andros nodded in acknowledgement, "Perhaps when your warriors return we can begin. Patience is a weapon that works well for us." He gave a slight grin, "Besides my sister knows how to try the patience of any interrogator."

((Remember the governor of Avalon is Andros' sister Padme Lilah Starlighter))

**********

Greea knew that the intruder had been lying to her. She looked sadly at the remains of the warrior and gave a farewell salute. She then began examining the ship, looking for any sign of where the governor may be. She scoured the databank coming across a peculiar set of coordinates. It was a likely possibility so she commandeered the ship and set off to find the governor.

**********

Tyrannus had been watching rather bored with the torture sessions. Their master called off their combat match out of sheer boredom. Tyrannus made a yawn that was very loud to indicate is feelings about Virul. He said, "Pompous windbag. The master doesn't want her dead by you. Quite making promises you know you can't keep."

Garrick raised an eyebrow at Katarina's statement.

"I have seen no proof of what you say. Mandalore is in no danger. Our people are at their strongest, our fleet at its largest. Mandalore may be threatened, but it will never fall, despite whoever this Tsung Khan is. But anyways, you are entitled to your opinions, and I am glad to know who you are now."

Garrick looked to Tiye, "I was not looking for polite explanations, after all, it was I that came here to disrupt your people's peace. The hostility is understood. But in combat, I hope for their sake that they keep to exploring, and leave the fighting to the capable ones, meaning the Mandalorians."

Garrick knew that he sounded completely arrogant and probably a bit offensive, but he could see no other option at the moment. He hoped that he may be able to get back on track after getting out on the wrong foot here.

Garrick began walking ahead, at least his wrist was no longer bothering him.

Katarina turned around suddenly, "Fool! Tsung Khan is nothing you have faced nor seen before. He is the consumate of all that is darkness in our world. When he joined with your Blood King, the ruler of darkness in this world, he started a reaction that could wipe out both our worlds. Do not assume that your pathetic guns are a match for his power."

She had her finger pointed at the Mandalorian as a warning. She continued, "He ruined the lands that belonged to my true father and I can't forgive him for what he did to my mother. What he did to my people's lands he will do worse to the lands here and in your Republic."

Tiye said nothing but gave a look that could have meant he shouldn't have said anything like that. She believed what they said was true since there are archive records of the tournament that involved people from the Republic. The last one had two Jedi.

Garrick tilted his head to the right, he was slightly confused to where Katarina stood on the problem.

He just needed to correct one thing,"My people are not apart of the Republic. We are the Mando'a. Do not EVER confuse us with those weaklings on Coruscant or wherever they are now. As you said, my people do not know Tsung Khan, but nonetheless, if he threatens my people, we will not rest until his kind is gone forever."

Garrick kept a calm tone about himself, and he didn't feel like arguing over soemthing like this. Katarina would obviously not move in her opinions, and therefore pointless to try. He then sensed that he had probably touched a sensitive subject, so that might've stopped his verbal campaign a bit.

"I fear I have said too much." With that, Garrick continued up the path, trying to go over the last few minutes in his mind and gather some more fuel for the fire that the argument had stirred.

"Perhaps an alternative form of persuasion is necessary. I know that your daughter, as well as others close to you, are on the planet Amshrey. I also know that two of my Death Guards are being sent there. Give me what I want, or I shall order them to kill her. Nothing your warriors do can stop them." Virul told the governor.

"Who exactly? Would it be Greea, we suspected the governor's kidnapper attacked her on Mustafar." Komad inquired. "And how do you know this?"

(@JM12: Remember to read my blog entry on the Death Guard. Even Avalonians should have reason to fear them)

"We are from Miako. There are rules but rules can be bent and broken. The Explorers took what they knew and it became known as your Force," Riyusaan explained, "No contact until four millenia ago when this happened before."

"Death Guard?" Tyrannus asked, "You mean to tell me your snivelly weasels are being sent?"

The Imperial troops had landed without resistance on the surface of Amshrey, where they had temporarily set up a small camp.

Suddenly, a black ship, similar to that of the staff ships of high ranking officers, and it landed in the center of the camp.

The many stormtroopers and other Imperial soldiers gathered around the craft as the loading ramp lowered.

And two tall, strongly built, black-armored stormtroopers stepped out.

The Death Gaurd.

The taller of the two, DG9117, or his nickname,"Konig," turned his head to the nearest officer.

"Prepare a perimeter around your base. Obey quickly, we do not have much time. Do not interefere with the Superior's bidding. You will be removed if you do. Now, go, set up the perimeter defense."

The officer stood dumbfounded with his mouth wide-open.

"Ummm, trooper, I'm not sure I know who you are, or what authorization you have to order us? I have recieved no word from Grand Admiral Velerc."

Konig sighed and withdrew his DC-58 rifle.

"I am one of the Death Gaurd...and how is this for authority?"

Konig leveled the blaster at the officer's head, and pulled the trigger, making short work of the annoying man.

After that, the small Death Gaurd, Bevorin, announced loudly,"Do not stand in the way of the superior's orders, or you shall be made an example. Clear the way!"

At that moment, the troops moved to the side, giving the black troopers a wide berth of a path.

The Death Gaurd walked quickly out of the camp towards their objective.
