Rogue15
k im done at 9, but doubt i'll be able to get on. my router isn't working properly anymore for some ****ing stupid reason....and it's more confusing with vista....well not really it's just a really old router. right now i got the modem connected to the router and i'm able to get on the internet, but xbox live is like 'OMFG I CANOT FIND ITTTTT' which is a dumptruck load of bs... edlib
Well... I'm not totally sure I'll be on, anyway. My friend's band is playing tomorrow night, and I might go see them... though I'm kinda doubting it right now. I have early morning training in on-campus web design tomorrow... and I suspect I won't be interested in going back out at night.

edlib
Hmmm... Yeah. It was a rough one yesterday. Survived it... but didn't enjoy it. It was the 2nd night of Monday's cluster****... only a bunch of stuff got added after the rehearsal/ soundcheck that took place Mon. Which wouldn't be a problem... except for the fact that I saved the entire concert with a recall-scene-per-song automation setup... and none of the new added stuff was in any of those scenes. So every time I recalled an existing scene, I had to scramble to get a new mic in the mix. I tried to look ahead and fix it, and ended making things actually worse. Stuff ended up in the wrong place... or labeled wrong... Not my best night ever...

edlib
Trust me: I was totally willing to do that very thing any time during the day yesterday... Today: I have gotten quite a bit of training on the various aspects of the webpage builder software we use on campus. Now I have no excuse for some aspect of the site to not be working correctly... dammit.

I'm planning on it... though I'm so wiped out there's a good chance I may fall asleep the second I stop moving. I'll fight to stay awake, though. We should be able to finish the campaign tonight. K_Kinnison
Had a good weekend, no parties, no cheap candy given to kids in cheap costumes. Just me and my Girlfiend, watching some movies, cuddling, and *ahem* having a good time. Drove home Sunday while listening to 4avre and the vikings beat the packers. My Girlfriend callled me Monday. Which was good concidering I had my phone in my hand and was about to call her when it rang (weird!) we were talking and she started one sentance "When we get married... " I think we both know we are, it is just things are not quite right for it right now. Distance, and we really havn't spent a lot of Domestic time together, kinda good to spend the morning reading the paper and then going to a few open houses with someone who you might spend the rest of your life with. Oh and Obama showed up today in Madison, I didn't notice, but I was wondering why the HELL did he arrive in MKE instead of MSN? I thought MSN/Truax could handle AF1. SOme people were complaining about all the roads being blocked off. I told him the same would have happened if Bush showed up only there would have been more rioting. Zargon
What? Haven't you guys only been going out for a couple of months or something? sounds like hes falling into the trap of 'Ive never really had real girlfriends before, so I better marry this one' My brother did that, and shes a huge controlling biatch.... untill you live in close proximity of her and can see her all the goddamn time to see how she and you handle it, I wouldnt consider it in any seriousness. edlib
Finished ODST tonight. Feels good. But I'm wiped out. Fortunately, I don't need to be in early tomorrow. Off to bed!
Keyan Farlander
do what feels right!! Actually...no. Yep, finished off ODST. The ending was a lot longer than we were expecting, I think. But we pushed on through. I was kind of hoping for a huge boss to fight, though. I don't know if Halo games really do that, though.
Rogue15
was working yesterday with the new female coworker, i haven't really been making any passes or signs that i'm too interested in her, mainly because i am not really interested in putting any effort into a relationship before going to basic, unless of course she really likes me and it can be a long-term thing. anyways she tells me we should go out sometime. she said earlier this week that she has a boyfriend who's studying for his masters, so i'm guessing she wants to go out just as friends, (and she just moved up here and wants someone to show her someplace closer to home to go out for drinks) which is cool i guess, cause i've never had a cute girl (my age, a few years younger) want to hang out with me before. so i think next friday after payday (next week )i'll show her around the area. still, going to try my best not to show too much interest beyond friendship, it's worked so far in getting her to like me. gave up on trying to get the router to work beyond 1 connection.....guess i'll have to buy a new router/hub. this one is about 10 years old. Everyone (women especially) always want what they can't have. But yeah, it's good that you're not really doing anything. Actively pursuing someone who is already involved is pretty lame, I think. edlib
Yep, finished off ODST. The ending was a lot longer than we were expecting, I think. But we pushed on through. I was kind of hoping for a huge boss to fight, though. I don't know if Halo games really do that, though. Not really. Halo 2 had something like a classic boss fight at the end. 1 and 3 both ended with levels that were basically: "Drive as fast as you can through an impossibly large amount of enemies and not get killed before a countdown runs out!" ODST seemed to fit that mold... though in 1 and 3, you didn't really have to stop and fight along the way, and in this one, they kinda made you do that. I've been having a bit of a confusing time with women myself, lately. (What else is new??? ) I've basically decided not to actively seek out anything for the time being. I'm just too busy at work to do it right... and there's a lot of things about myself and my situation I want to spend the little free time in my immediate future taking care of rather than expending all my energies chasing my tail trying to get a female of the species to possibly recognize my potential. But: There's one girl who I went to college with who I haven't hung out with in years who has recently asked me to lunch a couple of times... and she made it a point to say she's thinking about breaking up with her boyfriend. I don't know if that means anything, and I'm trying to not read anything into her intentions... but I found it interesting that the 2 things seem kinda connected in time. Then there was one of M.'s friends who kept walking over and talking to me at the party. She was super-cute. Again: I don't read anything into it... but I'm totally not used to cute women starting conversations with me, and then making an effort to actually keep them going. And yesterday, a woman I know from work, who I've always got along with, kinda said totally out-of-the-blue that we should meet up and have dinner together sometime. That one surprised the hell out of me. I also don't want to read anything into this either... But taken together, they've all made me take pause, and given me some things to think about.
