parabolee Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 My quick attempt to make him look closer to his in game sprite -
parabolee Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 It would appear that he does not have one in the SE. Shame, but not a big deal. His sprite looks great IMO (although his arms are a little stubby).
Thrik Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 He didn't have one in close-ups of his head in both MI1 and MI2, so I think it was a fair decision for them to not include it in the SE. More weird is the fact that they chose to give him human-like skin in the SE, although I do think it looks great. The games are so inconsistent that it's probably not worth worrying about. EMI's ghost LeChuck is like a mix between the original and the SE, with a moustache and the CMI coat thrown in for good measure — a depiction I also really liked!

When I looked at the new sprite I thought that too, probably because the sprite in MI1 looks like he has. And I guess they gave him the skin because his MI1 sprite also looked like he had skin.
Jenni Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 My quick attempt to make him look closer to his in game sprite - Thank you so much! I'm replacing my MI3 wallpaper on my phone with this one right now.
Irfaan Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Thanks a lot for the 1680x1050 version! :-D In fact, do you know what will also be...awesome! A 480 x 272 version for PSP! But it's o.k lol I don't want to stress you out or anything :-D
Fealiks Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 I think the red nose was a joke that got left out in future renditions of LeChuck. Since the close-up of his head in MI1 shows that his face is skeletal, the red nose is probably a stick-on plastic nose to stop him from feeling inadequate (he is a no-nosed pirate)
Thrik Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 That's an explanation I've heard for the nose before — can't think where though! It must have been in some old interview or something.
Ghost Down Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Could you do a 1920x1080 version? With maybe the original face if possible? Thanks in advance1
