jonathan7
So, I thought I'd change the default clothes for the PC, but have run into a strange problem..... Why has the model and texture worked for the Guardian? But hasn't worked for the Sentinel or Consular? The game is using my custom texture, but it's using the wrong model. Anyone have any ideas? What does your appearance.2da look like for those lines?
Kainzorus Prime
Apparently MED SML or LRG entries still call up the commoner model. Check appearance.2da entries.
jonathan7
The appearance.2da entries are correct, by cheating clothes in game the K1 robe model comes up... I think the issue is the game doesn't like the fact for the test purposes I had only changed the appearances for that "head" - seeing what happens if I change all of them... Kainzorus Prime
Or it simply doesn't load the correct model at character creation screen only.

TriggerGod
Its a glitch with the game that we can't/haven't figured out how to fix. The game will attempt to use your custom skin on the commoner skin. The only way to get a good pic of the new clothing you are using is to get your new PC in the randomly generated set of characters. If you are having it replace everyone's clothing, then I don't know why its doing that. Too slow
Astor
Looking great! Although, for some reason, the highlighted PC looks like she's modeling for next seasons catalogue.

jonathan7
Hmmmm, Another wonderful problem... Just made this for the PC... However having edited the appearance.2da so that my PC has disciples model and the above texture (named exilew01) the game keeps crashing... Any ideas? Eh, well, it has his body, but it also has some of his head's bones and stuff. So, if you'd want to use that as your body model, you'd have to do some remodeling. Once I fix my problem with my Atris robes, I'd be happy to help you out with your clothing issue.

No rush, but I'm happy to do a joint mod on it, if people want to see that skin on the PC...
Kainzorus Prime
IIRC, Mikey's body model is a full body model. BEEEEEEP. Wrong. His body is separate from the head. I did a mod using it once, so you can see the files for reference. http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Movie_Jedi_Tunics_Pack;68650

Kainzorus Prime
Perhaps you didn't edit the model itself in mdlops to display new texture? I'm not sure, but it's an option.
Canderis
That would have no effect.
