s-island Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 He should know that deleting his own threads (and all the replies) is bad if he wants people to reply to any future threads he creates. Having the forum automatically delete replies smells like a crappy bug. Or is it a feature?
Ascovel Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I guess it's an important feature for times when you create a thread while you were drunk, or something like that.
Gabez Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Apparently it's a feature that we can turn off (and apparently it's off on forums by default) so I'll try to make it so that people can't delete their own threads in future. They can always request an admin to delete it if it's really embarrassing.

Gabez Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Okay, I restored the thread and users can no longer delete their own threads. Case closed.
