Ghost Down Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Are there any novels out there with Darth Vader as the main character?
Ctrl Alt Del Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka. On this epic novelization, the author narrates the tragic tale of the absurd transmutation of Anakin Skywalker, the valiant Jedi Knight to a giant, wall-roamer giant roach. It's totally canon.
Hallucination Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Oedipus Rex is another good one, it really sheds some light on Anakin's reaction to his mother's death in AotC.
Astrotoy7 Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka. Press for Comedy Counterpoint Are there any novels out there with Darth Vader as the main character? Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader by James Luceno is what you should track down. It is part of the Dark Lord Trilogy, which includes Labyrinthe of Evil and the Revenge of The Sith Novelisation. I thoroughly recommend tracking own the audio book version. SW Audio books are great. mtfbwya
Ghost Down Posted July 17, 2010 Author Posted July 17, 2010 Wait, so is the Metamorphosis a real novel or was it just a joke? Btw, I'm sure to check out the Rise of Darth Vader. Might even buy the whole trilogy!

Darth Avlectus Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 I give this my seal of approval, even if the author is a little ambiguous or perhaps contradictory (your points of view may vary) on the styles of swordsmanship Vader actually used. Not a bad sort of "day-after-ROTS-happened" type of story.
