ChAiNz.2da Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Watched the first two episodes of The Walking Dead. Really good so far. I love zombies. Absolutely loving this series. yay AMC
LordOfTheFish Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I have also been watching The Walking Dead. Missed the first episode however, need to go back and watch it.
Titanius Anglesmith Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Movies I've finally gotten around to seeing in the last week - V for Vendetta The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford There Will Be Blood No Country for Old Men Little Miss Sunshine Pulp Fiction The Blair Witch Project Forgetting Sarah Marshall Superbad With the exception of TBWP, I enjoyed all of them, particularly the top two.
Sabretooth Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Watched RoboGeisha yesterday, from the makers of Machine Girl. It started out great, but eventually it started to suck and devolved into a wasteful pseudo-remake of Machine Girl.
Darth Avlectus Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 sickness Anyone who can sync these guys to a rap song is okay IMO.
LordOfTheFish Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 What I've watched recently: The Warriors Metropolis The Descent 2 Zombieland
JediExile Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Boondock Saints is a fantastic movie! It definitely ranks up there in my favorites. Two TV shows that I discovered in the last couple of months: Arrested Development and Dead Like Me. The latter is kind of dark, but they are both pretty hilarious.
LordOfTheFish Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Watched Paranormal Activity last night. Scariest movie I've ever seen.
Mav Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Watched Paranormal Activity last night. Scariest movie I've ever seen.Really? 'Cause it was the worst scary movie I've ever seen. Hour and a half of buildup for 30 seconds of "scare".
Sabretooth Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 I've seen worse. I generally hold [REC] as the scariest movie I've seen, though I don't trust my own memory...
stingerhs Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 movies i've seen recently: The Expendables Despicable Me CoN: Voyage of the Dawn Treader Avatar: Extended Cut Drag Me To Hell
Meowster Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Just saw Black Swan... it was beautiful. Natalie Portman is going to win the Academy Award. In other words, also just had a re-watch of the whole Star Wars saga.
LordOfTheFish Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Really? 'Cause it was the worst scary movie I've ever seen. Hour and a half of buildup for 30 seconds of "scare". I really haven't seen all that many horror movies, though, seeing as I'm not a fan of the genre. So don't take my opinion all that seriously. It's really a horror-noobs opinion. And it may have been a build up till the last 30 seconds but I really have yet to watch any other movie to frighten me more than that so I'm sticking with it. It would be nice of you to recommend a few good ones.
urluckyday Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Tron was a great movie. Visually, it looked spectacular. The story was pretty good (although it was a stretch at some parts). The actors were perfect (although I don't think Jeff Bridges was acting ) The soundtrack, by Daft Punk, was superb. Go see it in 3D if you get the chance because it looked amazing.
LordOfTheFish Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Finished Metropolis last night. Not bad considering how long ago it was filmed.
maltron66 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Yesterday I watched my all-time favorite gangster film... "The Untouchables". Epic movie, it's the story about the police officers who put Al Capone in jail- Eliot Ness and his team. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you go see it immediately.
HED Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I'm rewatching Breaking Bad's second season. Might rewatch Oldboy later if I'm feeling up to it.
