Canaan Sadow
I was at GameStop yesterday and I was flipping through their games that show you what is being released and when so you can reserve the game. Anyway, on their PC page it said that the game was to release January 3rd, 2012. I know this is a major disappointment to a few people, but at least it gives them time to work out the bugs. Just thought I'd let you guys know. (And yes, I reserved it )

The latest issue of PC Gamer has a 6 page hands on trial of TOR, and they don't even know the release date, all they can say is 'Autumn 2011'. As for a disappointment, we knew that TOR likely wouldn't be coming out until around the end of the year, so even if that is the eventual release date, it'll only be a month or so after what the current expectation is. Sabretooth
Yeah, GameStop keep throwing up dates like that all the time, I'd say there's about 60% accuracy to it. I think at most, they have a Q1 2012 confirmation.

Oh well... regardless I've got my copy reserved for sure x]

Hallucination
They do the same thing every WoW expansion, it's just their way of saying the game can be bought in the future.
Jeff
Ya, Gamestop and other retailers always have placeholder dates, mostly so they can get you to preorder the game. It might not even be close to the real date. I remember they had the release date for StarCraft 2 pegged almost a year before it came out at one point.
