Lynk Former Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Yeah, that trailer's been out for about a month now, but whatever. At least it's good to know those two moron-bots aren't in it. Already it's got a much better chance of being a better movie than the last one.
GeneralPloKoon Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Those twins ruined alot o TF2 for me among many other things....I have hope in the third one being more like the first.
Trench Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Looks like a good chance of it being a typical Michael Bay movie, with a slim chance of character development. But (hopefully) devoid of robot ball-jokes.
Lynk Former Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Jai'galaar Bralor: Character development... in Transformers? lol
Q Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 LOL@ expecting character development in any Michael Bay film.
Sabretooth Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Explosions make for some pretty deep character development, yo
Trench Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Jai'galaar Bralor: Character development... in Transformers? lol LOL@ expecting character development in any Michael Bay film. I express my dismay whenever I get excited about one of his movies. Leave me alone.
Lynk Former Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 But it's Transformers! The 80s cartoon that was basically just one big advertisement for Hasbro where stuff just happened and stuff didn't really make sense to begin with? Where new characters were just suddenly introduced for no reason and half of the original cast died in the movie just so they could release a new toyline? Everyone is like Michael Bay this and Michael Bay that. Michael Bay is perfect for Transformers!
Sabretooth Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I want my Darren Aronofsky-directed gritty reboot of Transformers now!

Everyone is like Michael Bay this and Michael Bay that. Michael Bay is perfect for Transformers! This. Nostalgia goggles are strong. I want my Darren Aronofsky-directed gritty reboot of Transformers now! Complete with a rather nice, though later overused and over-remixed, Clint Mansell soundtrack, and a story that will either make people sad or just confuse the **** out of them.
Prime Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Jai'galaar Bralor: Character development... in Transformers? lolThat's codeword for weapons upgrades. Everyone is like Michael Bay this and Michael Bay that. Michael Bay is perfect for Transformers! If it wasn't for the flames on Optimus I would have agreed with you.
Sabretooth Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 If it wasn't for the flames on Optimus I would have agreed with you. I believe it was a *borrows Lynk's sunnies* Prime Idea.
mstr kenobi Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 More explosions and pretty girls in peril, good enough for me! The very definition of popcorn movie.
