Well former Sub will get Cartel Coins for the time they had a subscription, so my suggestion is to first and foremost use those to unlock quick bars.

I certainly will. Just noting that for someone that is starting out, those bars are kinda important for some classes.

Like I wrote earlier, about the only class that will work with one bar is a infiltration shadow. :xp: Even then it would be difficult.

No way in hell with a sawbones one bar would work. Hell 4 isn't enough, I still have to go to the menu to use qt and inventory for a stim.

Anyone who is F2P, former subscribers or new players will feel the affects of the F2P limitations. So if you started off with 4 bars because you used to subscribe, you'll be cut down to one unless you buy more with the Cartel Coins.
Yeah, when I get back, I'm resubbing. :p

Hurry up, you are going to be surprised to see the imp side of things. We have, will soon have enough imp toons to do Ops. Not just enough, but enough players that actually do ops. Shouldn't have any problems getting HMFP going beyond I think we are a little low on tanks.

Oh yeah, speaking on F2P, BioWare now says you guys get 2 quickbars and that anyone who was previously subbed to swtor gets "preferred player status" which means that they get other perks too outlined in this post: http://www.swtor.com/community/showpost.php?p=5324114&postcount=1

The best part? All you need to do to get this status is to buy a single month or subscription to swtor and you're in... and once you have preferred player status, you keep it permanently.

So what do you get as a preferred player?

As a Preferred Status Player, you will gain the following benefits compared to Free-to-Play Players:

• The Sprint ability at Level 1

• Access to your Cargo Hold (an 80 item Player Bank)

• Access to Secure Trade (starting at level 10)

• The ability to send Mail, including one (1) attachment

• Increased allowance for chat message frequencies in Public chat channels (such as /general)

• An increased Credits Cap

• Access to the Who List

• Three (3) additional Sale Slots on the Galactic Trade Network (for a total of 5)

• One (1) additional active Crew Skill Slot (for a total of 2)

• Reduced skill point respecialization costs

• Increased Server queue priority

Cool, guess I'll be subbing for a month then. They still saying mid-November on the FTP release?

That's my estimate, not something BioWare would lay down in concrete... but I'd say that's the best bet at this stage...

Also, if you've already been a subscribing member before the F2P sets in then you get Preferred Player status anyway.

Yeah looks like they are actually listen to people that on the testing server. Everyone now gets two bars even though that are just F2P. http://www.gamezone.com/products/star-wars-the-old-republic/news/changes-made-to-star-wars-the-old-republic-s-free-to-play-version Also doing 5 instead of 3 warzones for F2P players.

I really didn't know how anyone was going to be able to complete even the main story with only 1 bar, glad BW saw the light. Give people a good experience and they may Sub to do other endgame stuff.
