F'ed up my eye exam appointment yesterday morning.

It was at 9, and the voice inside the back of my head was telling me it was 9... but I thought it was at 10, since that's what I put in my iPhone calendar the day I made the appointment. Granted, I was walking to my car, rushing to get to work with at least a thousand other things on my mind at the time I put it in...

I showed up at 9:30 thinking I was early, only to get treated by the receptionist like I was something unpleasant she had stuck on her shoe.

I hope my insurance doesn't get charged fot that... but I suspect it might.

had a good day today...after classes played far cry 3 for a few hours, got to the 2nd part in it i guess i could call it that...love the cinematics and the story. anyway...after that deal went running at the lake with my buddy then mexican restaurant for some margaritas and enchiladas. after i got home decided to phone my friend and convince him to go to the gym with me. good deal. now i'm feeling tired, my arms are sore as hell my legs and ankles said hell with it and are leaving me alone for now. :)

and some kinda nice news...chick i met on dating site is interested and wants to hang out. this one better not be psycho, according to her she likes the same **** i do which is hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, paintball, and idk it might be too good to be true like everything these days, but i will have some hope left in my heart...

"likes" are not the same as "What I like to DO"

My wife likes hiking, but is in no physical shape to hike up the nearby bluffs, which i LOVE doing. She likes to bike, but not more then a mile or two. unlike me, which I have greatly enjoyed going 20-40 miles in a day, then camping out.

Took a trip to the north. Stopped at a winery in Fountian City, about 1 hour north. Took the Great River Road (The most scenic road in the nation). Enjoyed a glass of wine, on the top deck of a pre-civil war building where the tasting was, overlooking the River. Then over to a top notch Irish pub, with the best Bangers and Mash, and a nice cold Porter from the local brewery to wash it down with.

At the end my stomach looked up to the brain and said "That will do" before a mighty satisfying belch came up.

Slept most of the day away. The weather has been pretty blah outside all day, and I was exhausted from a week of professional and personal stresses.

Seems a crappy way to blow the last real day of summer for me... but there you go. This summer kinda sucked for me anyways.

It's now just past the one year anniversary since my ex decided to go away,... and guess who decided to send me a message last week?

I haven't responded to her. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to.

had a blast at italian fest today. i walked 2 miles to get to the atm down there, got some cash out, bought my chicken Parmesan pizza slice, walked around checking out all the awesome food, bought a canolli...freaking delicious. :D texted with my old coworker and seeing if that is worth a relationship (the one with the 4 kids) she wants to hang out on the 14th/15th, so i'm looking forward to that. and the pof chick finally got back to me, we exchanged numbers and i got a date with her on friday. :joy:

back in the gym tonight, did 20 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes working my arms, then another 10 minutes on elliptical. i think i'll start noticing changes by november, or the time i have to report back to my unit and take a freakin pt test, which i will pass first time GO.

Skyrim is so awesome....i love the archery, and the 3rd person view of kills. love that game right now. and the music is done very well!

I just completed the main storyline in Skyrim. Working on the civil war line, then maybe the Thieves Guild one.

Then after that, maybe I'll get the DLC... though I'm hoping I can find a collection disk used and cheaper than paying for all the DLC downloads.

ughghghgh roommates that live downstairs ****ed up the washer.....so i'm off to the mother ****ing laundrymat so i have gym clothes for tonight. fml. haha pretty sure i fixed it, threw it on spin cycle while i had my clothes washing at the laundrymat...almost was dumb enough to pay to have them dried there, but remembered...derrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! the dryer still works, ****ing idiot. :joy:

not sure what else i'm going to do today...italian fest is going on still, but it's misery outside, humid as **** (missing kuwait, no humidity or rain) and nobody to go there with cause they're all at work or have plans with family.

but eh, i cleaned up my room pretty good and my car...got two 32 cases of water and a gym towel (sweating profusely sucks). next stop i think will be italian fest cause i didnt eat anything today...then after that i'll come home and get my clothes out of the dryer and head over to lake scranton for a 3.5 mile run, come home and shower do some algebra problems and read some of my psych or sociology book then play some video games til 10pm then go to the gym.

Skyrim is EPIC. THo my favorite is the assassin guild storyline. Kind of silly at the beginning when you kind of start the civil war. Gee, who should I join, the local rebels? or the Imperials who decided to chop my head off for no reason?

Also there is a trick you might not know. If you are bored, traveling around, and spot a fox, they will often lead you to interesting things.

Last time i played i completed almost all the quests... that takes a LONG as time. Got kind of bored when I was sneak attack killling death knights at the end

my Drum Magazine for my T68 Firestorm M4 paintball gun shipped today...hoping it gets here by this weekend because I'm going paintballing with my friends this coming sunday. then the next game is on the 22nd and then the castle conquest game at EMR paintball field on the 28th plus open play on the 29th. I'm so excited.

pretty excited about friday. this girl seems to like me, but idk i'm trying not to get my hopes or anticipations too high. this could be another epic fail for all i know, but i will make the best of it.

I closed off the assassin's guild line by killing the recruiter in the shack, then everybody in the headquarters.

After I complete a few more storylines, maybe I'll make another profile and start again, and play the evil side up a bit more.

My ex has been persistent in contacting me. I finally caved and responded. It went about as well as could be expected. Angry words were exchanged, and somehow everything is all my fault.

Fine... as long as it's all over and I can get on with my life again. I'm not really sure what she expected... that I was going to be thrilled to start things up again with a now-married ex who dumped me from over 5000 miles away with almost no reasonable explanations over a year ago? That I hadn't moved on when I heard that she did, and was still pining for her?
