Kotor tsl getting the jedi council to wear something else.

Yeah. You'd have to edit Vrook's UTC file (character file) - depending if he uses the same UTC file fore every module or not, you may have to end up editing 5-6 of his UTC's. It's not too much work though.

Here's a tutorial on the basics of a UTC.

For changing his robes though you'd want to open up his UTC in KotOR tool, and click on the Inventory tab in the bottom left.

Alright, would somebody do this for me. My modding skills suck and I've been at it for a few hours. If somebody would do this if you could just give each jedi master ( kavar, zac, and vrook) different jedi master robes you would be the greatest person that ever lived. Please and of course thank you.

You could always accomplish the same thing using an appearance.2da tweak, which would save you the hassle of rooting around for different UTC files in the various modules...

Have a look: http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=204739

Yes that made more sense than the utc and now I have each jedi master wearing there own robes thank you all for your comments.

If you were going to edit the UTC files for each Jedi Master, dropping them in your Override is a no-no, as stated above.

You would need to extract the UTC for each Jedi Master from each module that they're in, edit them, then re-insert them into the modules.

I did this for many different NPC's when I had TSL installed, it's definitely the preferable method. ^_^

Even though this subject is resolved this is just my own personal question.

Why couldent you have used the utc's? I see if we're talking about a diffrent charecter but I can't see anytime in the game where it would matter if the jedi masters was wearing jedi master robes. If you changed all the utc's then they would all have jedi master rones at all times.

There can be many UTC's for a character across multiple modules and usually share the same name. If you edit one and put it in the override folder you run the risk of breaking cut scenes in those other modules. They are set up differently with different gear, drops and most importantly scripts/dialogs used for cut scenes.

You would need to edit each and reinsert them back into the module they came from. Appearance.2da is a lot easier.
