Kolzig Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Is there a way to reset the main page account's password for myself? I am sure I have an old account with the same name as here to comment on the news posts, but it seems it has different password setup than the Mojo forums has? I have tried all possible combos I can remember of old passwords, but just can't seem to successfully login.
Remi Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Just to triple verify, is your email "k*****@g****.***?" I can reset it if so -- we are... in between... web mailers right now. :~
Scummbuddy Posted April 2 Posted April 2 This has happened to me too and I haven't made the effort to rectify it. And all my snarky news post comments rest solely in my head.
TimeGentleman Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Remi, you shouldn't really post people's emails on a public forum, they get scraped and put on spam mail lists (if not used for identity theft attempts). I made this mistake myself many years ago and got a very angry message from someone after they did a search for their address online and figured out what had happened! 1

Remi Posted April 10 Posted April 10 OK, so, a Mojo Account—not forums, but Mojo proper—password reset is ready for exclusive beta testing: https://mixnmojo.com/password-reset/ As we're using Mailgun for sending mail, I don't think there should be many fake-flag spam issues, but keep an eye out nonetheless. 4
Kolzig Posted April 30 Author Posted April 30 (edited) Thank you for the the the actions made. Now I can log in again on the front page for the news commenting. The reset mail did get notified as possible spam in the email when received, but at least did not get sent to spam folder automatically. Edited April 30 by Kolzig 1
